Nabil Gabol is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2015 and a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh from 1988 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1996. He served as Minister of State for Ports and Shipping from 2008 to 2011 and as Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, he’s the incumbent Chief Sardar (Nawab) of the Gabol, baloch tribe.

What a disgusting, misogynistic, provocative statement. Rape is not "inevitable", someone made a conscious choice to impose themself on another human being, and no one should feel like they have to enjoy violence being committed against them. It is very hurtful and traumatic, and no one in their right mind is going to even think about being able to enjoy it.

What do you think about how he felt about Imran khan making the same insensitive remarks on rape and robotic men. The racial or political prejudice and bias for both parties is so clear of the host.

We don't call ourselves 'Mahajir', this identity was given to us by the Holy Cows. @Nabil Gabol, you forgot to mention the Parsi and Hindu community that use to live here and own major business's in Karachi before the partition, unfortunately we lost such productive and hardworking people. People migrated from India to Karachi because of the partition, we cannot reverse this so lets accept this and find a way to work together.

Never thought any podcast to be this much diverse and fact-driven. Even with my bias against Nabeel Gabol, you made me listen to the whole one and a half conversation with him. Thankyou for this platform, it changed my perception about most of the things. Keep up the good work.
Also as an outsider to Lyari world, I would also suggest a podcast on Lyari I want to learn more. Or suggest any book or documentary if exists

Good job Shehzad! And for people questioning your interview skills: Its not Shehzad’s job to question your MPA/MNA, its yours. Do something rather than criticize the few people trying to make a difference. If you feel your questions were not asked/answered go to Nabeel Gabol’s office and ask him yourself.
On Face value what he is saying about Gangsters and Criminals is 100% correct. They don't deserve to go through the Civil Justice system.
Nabil seemed to me like an 18 year old bloke stepping into his adolescence, filled with energy and excitement not knowing how to channelise that.

Very informative podcast! We need to hear more from our elected politicians who are now continually portrayed as the villains in TV dramas.
One one the best podcast I have ever watched of a politician and to all those whining in the comments about Nabeel Gabol supporting Bilawal Bhutto...I don't think it's problematic at all everyone supports their own party's chairman that's not a big deal.
Promoting Bilawal as a person who has a deep empathy for the poor, and one who has vigorously relaunched the Kashmir offensive, essentially by demeaning Modi, is analogous to selling snake oil. Why
"Urdu speakers are not Muhajirs, Urdu speakers are Sindhis". I mean seriously, Urdu is their language, Muhajirs were intellectuals who gave birth to Pakistan, Sindhi and Gujarati were prominent languages of Sindh, urdu belongs to Muhajirs and now they call them outsiders

Great job again man with the podcast. But man these PPP folks don't even talk about Sind besides Karachi. Most of Sind is NOT Karachi. PPP has been in power in Sind close to a decade now. Interior Sind is their core constituency and they don't even talk about it. There is enough talk about Karachi by almost all stakeholders. What about Dadu ? What about Shukkur ? Who talks for them ? If PPP ministers are not talking about them then who else will ? They have voted for and supported this party for decades and they don't even get a mention ? Is everything hunky dory in Nawabshah ? Becharoon kee koee away bhee nahee hai. Sind is the second biggest province by population and by GDP. Yet its 3rd in terms of HDI. Has higher level of poverty then both KP and Punjab. Its literacy rates have actually dropped since 1972. How is building a hospital or university be claimed as an accomplishment for a government ? That is your job you have the resources of state behind you. Thats the least you could have done. IS there a policy to increase literacy rates ? Is there a policy to improve health care ? Sad state of affairs with no hope of things getting better with these folks running or atleast partially running the show.

Nabeel Gabol should be careful when making some of those statements about his rivals. Although Nabeel Gabol loves to look tough and intrepid.
