- hey guys in this video we are installing the leds to the heater controls changing them white.

@@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles you alright mate so I’ve bought the speedo conversion kit as stated above I’ve just looked on crazy leds and it’s say the is a guide on how to do it but I can’t find the guide any ideas

i want to do this i recently bought a 14 plate corsa and the dim lights on the interior make it look dated
Any idea if this will work for the Corsa E? Looks like a similar unit, has the same horrible orange/red glow to it

I got them on amazon but they're actually for a Ford focus

Yes pretty easy just remove the plastic surrounds and push the tabs that lock lock in mate
Nice work mate, did you clamp a resistor at each of the leds or only 1 resistor at all?

How did you take the yellow plastic ring on the back of the center dial? I couldnt take it off and didn't want to break it
If I remember correctly there was clips on the sides

Hiya mate they are actually for a ford focus and I used a little bit of gorilla glue to hold them on but works well and have been on for over a year. I think It was from amazon

I've just done mine but still keep blinking even when I've fitted the other wires and wires are exposed in the clips so don't know what to do
Tbh I'm not to sure potentially could be a weak connection. If the wires are definitely touching the clips then I'm unsure sorry

Just on amazon mate but they're made for a Ford focus. If you search focus heater controls they should come up. Only a few £s aswell
@@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles ide seen them for the focus and got confused as to why these wernt available for any other car. its always a bit rsiky buying under the assumption. but hey if you say so, ile give the risk a go. so just bought some. Really glad i found your vid. Im really fussy with dials and how they feel.
Iv had them for ages mate. They fit on perfectly just need a little bit of glue to hold them on. Mine have been on for about 2 years now
How mate where can I get those silver switchesthey look so good can the middle one be changed to silver as well

My leds are still flashing and I don't know why. I've made sure the clips are touching the inner wires but its still not working. Any suggestions?
Not really tbh. I know that you said it was definitely touching but maybe make sure enough off the wire is touching for a strong enough connection.
If not it may be a faulty kit so request a refund or a new set sent out to you msye
@@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles yeah I might do. You don't think it could be a dodgy fuse do you? Would that make the led flash?
I dont think so tbh. Mine flashed at first but like I say wasn't a strong enough connection.
my hands free have stopped working on my steering wheel do you no what the problem could be please
Could most likely be a dodgy fuse. However, it could potentially be a wiring issue. If the lights don't come on at night then i would start by checking the fuse box.
My bulbs dont work, do you know myb why, fuse?
Hiya mate. It could be several things. 1- faulty or blown bulb 2- bulbs are put in backwards and 3- dodgy fuse. It's hard to tell but it should be one if those 3
Hi I've done this they are great done top and bottom but now when I open my car speedo lights do not light up
Thats odd mate. It sounds as though a fuse may have blown
Your speedo lights will only come on properly when you've got your full beams on. There's also a few buttons on the light controls that increase or decrease their brightness
@@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles they come on when I open door but used to come on as soon as I unlock doors
I'm unsure tbh mate. I can't remember my speedo ever lighting up when I unlocked the door tbh but it's been a while
And the lights are always on even when daytime driving lights are on my car is the vxr but it's just funny the used 2 light up when unlock car but only come on when open door now
