Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel. As always thankyou all for the support. Let me know if this helps any of you. Obviously the comments help the systems but it's also a big motivator to know when the videos have helped.
Great video, very helpful. Thank you. Just a quick question: will it work by just fitting the pieces as they came originally (without zigzag) and using the glue?.
Good idea the glue! Indeed, the little plastic piece connecting the blades is the tricky point and can drive you crazy. I am going to try it to fix my vent.
I did mine yesterday, the bit that holds them together was missing so I went to the scrapyard and bought a compete air vent for £3, I had to repair my own with the bit cos its got a chrome surround on mine, they fall apart anyway when you take them off, I also got some spare bits.
Done mine when I got my car, never did the glue tho 🤦♂️ the middle part was lost down in the vent on one of them, had to fish it out with double sided tape stuck to the top of a drum stick 🤣
I need help my vent air the tabs had fallen inside it and I can’t take them out even tho I see them with my light. I have Mitsubishi Mirage and I don’t know what to do
That's a tough one. A few suggestions maybe try a ball of cellotape on string. If that doesn't work something long maybe or try turning the blowers on full to push it our. But if it's to far down you probably won't get it out. It won't do any damage and they are cheap enough to buy a new one
You'd be lucky to find the part so best to just buy the new part. They are cheap enough. My advice is when u get a new one but a little bit of super glue on that piece to secure it

That's a bargain tbf. Glad you managed to get it sorted
Do you have any idea what the part is called that holds them together? I tried to repair my vent too and was also missing that small part
@britt it will not be sold separately, you'll have to buy the whole air vent. Or get the bit from a breakers yard

My problem is the ones behind that go up and down are broke, I don't know what they are called or do I need a whole part?
