Any expected date for EX30 in the US. I am on reserve list but have not received any request to define the car I want yet.
Hi Thom, Good to see you back making videos..Do you know when Volvo/Polestar in the USA will start using the NACS charging connector and have access to the Tesla Super Charger Network?
Thanks! Yes, VC USA confirmed that the EX30 will come equipped with a CCS1 in 2024 with an adapter to use Tesla’s NACS chargers in the same calendar year (this year). In 2025, Volvo will transition its USA vehicles to natively use the NACS standard.

Thanks Thom, I have watched all your videos about EX30, they are really useful, especially for me, future EX30 owner (April). I was watching a lot of other videos but could not find the one with Auto Pilot where EX30 is adjusting the speed according the traffic signs. How it works, is the car able to reduce speed automatically once recognize speed limit and then increase it after it is canceled? As I could see in the manual it shall be feasible: "Instead of manually adjusting the set speed, you also have the option to use the current speed limit as your target speed. The set speed then automatically updates when the speed limit changes. This can be enabled in Pilot Assist's settings.". Thanks for any answer!
Thanks so much! What I recall from the pre-production one I drove is that, that one did not do that yet. From march 15 I'll have a 'normal' EX30 for testing so I will try that for you and get bck to this!! Cheers.
Good to see you again! Is anything happening with the XC60/EX60? Will 2025 XC60 T8 have any updates or decontenting? I've heard speculation that 2025 may be the final year for the current XC60 plug-in? Any rumors?
Thanks Richard. I’ll dive into the EX60 a bit more this week stay tuned. Also for my25 I’ll contact my ‘contacts’… I’m expecting the EX60 will follow soon which could explain the xc60 being discontinued… so: I’ll get back to this topic! 😄

No formal news yet but I’m expecting this one to follow after the ES90 being revealed soon.
Volvo in Denmark said that the traffic alerting feature should be coming to the EX30 but would depend on an update that they could not say when was coming

Changes to MY25 Volvo EX30
Finland's configurator and pricing list was updated recently with MY25 details. Here are the visible changes:
- The model tag "EX30" is moved from the C pillar to the rear as in previous Volvo vehicles.
- Moss Yellow will now also have Pine and Indigo interior options available in addition to Misty.
- Cloud Blue will be a standard colour option like Vapour Grey (i.e. no extra cost when Cloud Blue is chosen).
- The steering wheel will have slight embossing on the buttons.

I hope those buttons can be retro fitted as the MY24 one can be a bit hit or miss.
@stevecade857 it's only some raised lines around the button points. The underlying single panel appears to be the same
@Maisemore that should already be sufficient to make it more user friendly
@@Maisemore The buttons seem very particular on their actuation point so any extra help find that ideal spot they work on would be of benefit. Probably why it's been changed in the first place as it is an easy and simple fix rather than re-engineer the buttons totally.
Hi, question, the vibration issue on the steering. I am still waiting for the much needed part, holland,😢. Did it got better for you? I know what the want to change, but i have the feeling this will not be the fix. Let me know.😊
My car was actually in this week, the fix Volvo had is recalled again… I’m on the list now for the next potential fix. I guess they will never get this solved…

Hi @thom-lov, yesterday my car went back to the dealer for the steering vibration issue at 100km/h. They have replaced the airbag in the steering wheel. I now have driven several times, it is fixed for 95%. After 1,5 year 😀 it drives much much better. They have created an airbag that detects the actual vibration and gives an contra vribation back into the steering wheel. 🤣🤣🤌🤌🤯. At first I was sceptic but it actualy works. Volvo xc40 plus, single engine, early my23.
Worth while for asking the dealer about this. If your issue is the same.

The zeekr is priced very competitive whilst you may get an even better package actually!
Looking at the Volvo website, it would appear the XC90 2025 won't be a 3rd model facelift.

Volvo has announced that it will no longer provide financial support for Polestar.
Volvo was part owner of Polestar, ang Geely was majority owner of Volvo and Polestar. Now they are both under Geely without cross-ownership.
Different yet the same, all still under the Geely umbrella…
In my part of Canada (Ontario) distracted driving deaths are at an all time high. It surprises me that the EX30 has no centre or heads up display. Seems unusual backward step for safety conscious Volvo. Andrew
Understandable that makes people doubt this approach. Though I got to admit that it’s not ‘that’ distracting. Anyway, way I prefer the usual drivers info display behind the wheel, and even better a heads up display!!
