Great video! I ordered the ec40 my 2025 a couple of weeks ago.
Ultra Twin Motor Performance. Sand Dune exterior and the new Dawn interior, I liked that only the seats are blond and the rest of the interior is black.
Also added the running boards, should look cool. I didn't pick the digital mirror because a tested that on a Kia Ev9 and thought is a bit disturbing looking att it when drivning, but that is just my opinion. Also added 20" wheels and the Pixel LEDs. Gonna be interstering seeing how it looks when its delivered.

The F5-Freedom Fighter is the combat version of the Northrop T-38 Talon trainer.
I prefer the look of the EX and its more practical so that's an easy choice for me!

Thanks. No, it's a fairly expensive upgrade. So won't be standard
About the mirror situation, would have preferred to just have the mirror a bit lower, that would enable a better angle to see farther back maybe.
Lower? 🤔 It's placed on the window so shouldn't be any limitations in terms of rear view line of sight.
I mean the current real mirror could maybe have a longer pole so that the mirror could be positioned lower, it would enable a better angle through the back window to see much farther. Wouldn't it?
@@borealis75 Oh, understand. Yeah definitely would be a better angle with a longer pole, but then maybe it would come in conflict with different height on drivers. Not sure

Yeah, I'm expecting the mirror to be the same. However there's a different camera integration. Polestar mounts them externally, and here it's on the inside.
Is the EC40 big enough to be a familycar (1 baby)? Or is it worth waiting for EX60 or other Volvos to come?
Yeah, this is definitely big enough for that. The EX60 are still a good time away.

No changes in the interior? personally...that's my opinion I dislike the Microtech Textile and the Wool, all choice doesn't satisfy me as instead the exterior that is amazing, the style of the interior looks me cheap rather than nordic essential. I drive an XC40 plug-in with basic interiors and that's something that doesn't fully satisfy me.
Not changes per say. But we get some new interior upholsterers. So even if there's no changes it's always appreciated with more options.
