Perfect car for me. 90%+ of my driving is now local. Twice a year on 200 mile journey.
It drives so well. The comfort is tangible.
The Google Voice assistant can deal with music, heating and a few other items.
200kw motor will last well compared to its competitors.
    I like it so much.
So I’ve ordered White Extended Range Ultra.

Taking delivery on Friday ✔️😁 havnt had charger at home like you do becouse I get to charge at work. But if I charge home I just do the normol contact and charge slow or I go and fast chargers in weekend if I did go somewhere but I getting a charger installed to in about one month becouse gonna change up my work abit so just gonna charge at work 1 time a week. Earlier I charged around 2 times and then 1 time friday for the weekend. but I got a long way to drive. EX30 also got way better range then my Tesla atleast in the winter and also does way better in winter. I had a EX30 over a weekend 2 months ago up in north Sweden winter storm and it was way better.

Efficiency is something that is very often at odds with aesthetics. If you want an efficient car, you need a very low CX, and that can only be achieved by making very aerodynamic lines, which usually turn cars into something... I don't dare to say ugly, but boring. Examples Model 3 or Ioniq 6. As efficient as they are unattractive. It is something that you should think about when buying your car.

"Has great drive train tuning," goes on to list all of the reasons why it's not, lol. XC40, C40, and P2 legitimately have best in class execution so I think EX30 can get there with some updates.

I think the trick with any Car now is low mileage year old. This Volvo will lose 30% of its sticker price in the fist year and then it’s very attractive price wise. The sweet spot is the long range RWD. It dives better for the money. Battery tech is changing so fast they could add 100 miles real world to the range within three or four years and keep the price similar.
You put some buttons and HUD or small screen and it would be even better. Cheaper than the Model 3. To be honest I’m looking at the new Renault 5 now over this. I was in the Volvo and it looked great in the flesh, I found the interior a bit boring but fine.

I agree that efficiency is a big issue.180-200 miles range is just not good enough. The one pedal driving is poor, and the continuous interruptions from looking away eg to look at the touchscreen was so off putting I excluded it as a realistic option.

Swedish styling with Chinese battery tech what’s not to like. The Chinese are years ahead in manufacturing and battery chemistry and can build units to cost that lowers the price.

I extensively test drove the EX30, Smart #3, Tesla M3 Highland and the Model Y RWD. Out of all the cars the EX30 was the worst, it felt cheaper inside, fidgety to drive with a top heavy feeling and the rear leg room was laughable. Delivery times were also estimated to be 6-8 months which is laughable considering a Tesla can be ordered and delivered (from factory not inventory) within 2 weeks. On top of all that the range was not on par with the other cars. If you want the fast acceleration and build I would go with the Smart #1 or #3 Brabus. The car I eventually chose was the Model Y RWD (BYD battery) because for the money it was the best deal @ €43k and 0% finance. Its mature enough in its release cycle that a lot of issues have been resolved, so it feels like the most accomplished too. Build quality may not be on par with the others, but its more than good enough.

I drove the #1 and the ex30. Space wise and features, #1 wins, but the ex 30 is too funny to drive and with a nicer look. Unfortunately, there is no zeekr in my country, and Tesla dealer Tesla is to far (the nearest official Tesla officine is 700km Sestu from my house). Volvo dealers are nice and prepared, so I guess even their technical support, and this is a great plus for me. Still undecided if but it or not.
