Raiden just has high skill ceiling. It’s totally reliant on your ability to control your mouse. So it’s a great way to train mouse control and not have a crutch to help you.

Im using hyperx furyS mousepad currently, I play csgo most of the time. Sens 0.92 Zoom Sens 1.04 DPI 800 currently .. Im kinda having trouble on choosing fx hien soft or fx zero soft atm.... my current mousepad is 3-4 years old , not consistent anymore my flicking not as sharp as last time
I’m in the same situation as you and also have the hyperx fury s, it just doesn’t feel the same anymore after 3 or 4 washes. I think i’ll just get the hien that should be like hyperx (between control and speed) but get a softx just to feel more like a zero

bought Glorious 3XL Extended - 24"x48" - Stealth and I like it but I’m debating whether going for the artisan zero soft or the hien soft I’m not sure which one I would like the most I’m pretty good at strafing and decent at flicks what would you guys recommend also would prefer something that may be faster so I can improve flicks but idk I play usually apex and cod sometimes valorant. Hien took about 1-2 weeks to break in got a bit slower per say but quality amazing and it’s a bit rough but you get used to it after the 2 weeks it’s and amazing mouse of but getting the zero to see if I prefer slower and more controlled mousepad!

Have no experience with the zero in mid. I’m assuming a mid zero would feel slightly faster than a soft zero. At the end of the day it’s the same pad. The softness difference is probably pretty minor
at 2:30 the mousepad ur using is a mid, to all of you reading, mid's are shit, soft and xsoft give the exact same gliding speed what so ever. The mid's have all bad base, (it doesn't stick to the table.) I just reccomend getting a hayate otsu (soft or xsoft) or hien (soft or xsoft)
Not true. I own like 10 Artisan pads on various base hardness, I find Soft ones just dig into the mouse feet too much, feels scratchy especially when you try to do spray control in CS2 or tracking a flying/jumping/falling target in Overwatch 2. It all depends on how you use pressure to control your aim, no base is superior to one another.

They’re two very different pads. If you main tac shooters like CS or Val go zero. If you play games like apex or cod hien is what you want.
For hien, i recommend corepad or tiger arc 1. For zero i recommend tiger ice

I would say so. Not by too much though. You’ll love the Hien coming from the mp510. All around more solid and sorta similar speed
