Hi everyone,
I live in a different timezone and thus have only just woke up to seeing these comments.
Edit: Upon further evaluation and reading your comments, I have to decided to change the thumbnail and the title completely. It is important for me to acknowledge this, and not just delete the video without saying anything.
I want to apologise for the previous wording used for this video, particularly in the title and thumbnail, as well as some of the lyrics which you guys have pointed out. My intention was to write this song from the POV of a man towards another man, and absolutely not from a man’s POV towards a woman. That would be dismissing the whole idea of the original song, which I love. I wholeheartedly believe and support lesbian rights. Nonetheless, I understand that it is not my place to change the song's context either, but it was also never my intention to offend or even come close to invalidating feelings girls have for each other.
With that being said, this video is simply purposed for making a cover song, and solely for the music. I will not tolerate the non-constructive hate and threats, and please stop sending any such hate to one another too.

I’m so sorry about all the hate you got for this!! I saw this video pretty soon after it got posted and before most of the comments had poured in. After listening I realized it was about a mlm relationship and that the wording of the thumbnail was just an accident, and I wish I had commented something that maybe could have helped people understand your true intentions.
