On the s8. When the bike is off, hold the left brake lever for 10 seconds and simultaneously turn the bike on, continue to hold the left brake lever for 10 more seconds. Doing this while switch the bike modes. In other words it makes it have the 28mph speed limit or removes it. Might work on the s6. Good luck!
@@jasond7978 I did this, and I was able to get above 30, but not the advertised 35+. I would accept this given I'm hefty, but even going down hill you can feel the motor limit the speed at 33.
I really like the bike though I don’t think I’m gonna return it. You can’t beat the price. I’m just going to upgrade it. When the motor or controller go out, I’m gonna upgrade it with a 72 V controller and 3000W rear motor.
@@superjrhd21 same. Returning Chinese made ebikes is honestly more of a hassle than fixing them I'd say (unless totally defective). A new rear shock is only about 100 bucks, and a new fork a only a little more than that. I did hear that the issues with the fork may stem from QC problems at the factory (they didn't put enough spacers near the stem so there's too much play), so I may not actually need to fully replace it.
@@cheforionmg yeah right now I bought the rear shock but I’m just waiting for the top battery to arrive because mine came effective and doesn’t work. Hopefully, I get the battery by this Friday. Hopefully, they sent me a battery and not a packet of bolts and screws. I saw that a guy received that.

@@JesseJimenez1101 I wanted the dual batteries, which do add a huge amount of range. At full throttle, about 33mph, I was able to travel about 40 miles and had about 20% battery left. I mounted a extra battery to my S8 I would say it’s better than the S6 since it does not vibrate
