I have no doubt that the blower would work but I'm not sure what the limitations are of that blower. The blower I have is spun relatively slow. Factory pulley. So how hard would you need to spin the m112 to make the same power? That would be the question that would need to be answered by the ford guys.

@@s10blackwidow that is gonna be sick. The m112 isnt as good as the m112 for sure but I would suggest getting it ported. It should give you a nice powerband on that ls1 I would leave the current pulley on it see how much boost you're making and go from there. Adjust accordingly you might need to pulley down some more idk though.
@@DivineSpeed a ported m112 is similar to a stock m122. A ported m122 smokes it. Without porting on the m112 the m122 is significantly better. The m112 gains the most with porting.
Do you think there would be issues with airflow if I tried to use the stock Chevy throttle body and adapt it to the rectangular port of the supercharger?
I don't really know about the belt slip. I'm not seeing any evidence or seeing it in a datalog but I have raised the blower 6 inches and the extra belt length will probably cause a problem. I should see it the next time I get to drive it.
A good supercharger would be more fun on the street but the turbo, in my opinion, makes more power. If I had the money for a good supercharger kit, I'd probably buy one.

Welllllllll, Holley makes a Hi-Ram intake now for the Ford engines. Same plenum bolt pattern as the intake I used. If you did what I did and make an adapter plate for the blower, you could possibly make it work that way. Other than that, you might look up the kenny brown kits. I think years ago there was a upper intake plenum that bolted to the factory ford lower intake. I've never messed with them so I can't say for sure but it's worth looking up.
That would be so badass since it has 5.8 printed on the blower I haven't seen that done that is a really cool idea. Should make damn good power with some good heads and cam.
It might have been a 350 horse engine tp start and it may have been making 500 on the first drive. I'm going to shppt for 600 on this motor before porting or changing pulleys
OMG , I have that exact car on my garage. Mine is a 1982 with the same color paint job. I run a New Process MANUAL 4 speed adapted trans with a Ford 9" rear diff. Goes like a sum' bitch Mine is set up for running a 175HP cheater plate NOS system.
BTW , if you take off that front bumper and split it apart , you can use a plasma cutter to swiss cheese that rear support and eliminate those 2MPH bumper shocks along with relocating that battery to the trunk , replacing those 4 glass headlamp bulbs with the plastic versions , it all helps to get that weight off the nose. Dumping that A C. box was a good move also.

It would do very well.
@@DivineSpeedis there any way to connect this supercharger to a ls6 intake? I have a iron block 5.7 (built from 5.3 LM7) and a 383 kit with truck norris cam, all forged internals. I already had a ls6 intake. I know I wont find a cheap centrifugal
I love it! Mad maxx af.
And the Plates say, Road Warrior.
lol I get a lot of mad max references.
Hey brotha could you send me the components needed to make my 5.3 work this
hello there i have a Question ? do you think m112 ford Lightning blower work on a ls1 5.7 motor out of a 2002 ss camaro slp car.
I have no doubt that the blower would work but I'm not sure what the limitations are of that blower. The blower I have is spun relatively slow. Factory pulley. So how hard would you need to spin the m112 to make the same power? That would be the question that would need to be answered by the ford guys.
@@DivineSpeed well my ford lightning m112 blower that i got on ebay has the 2.8 pulley so it's spinning a bit faster then stock. Do you think i should go back to stock or keep that pulley? I'm really not looking for crazy horsepower just want it for a cruiser and that m112 sound like yours love that whine. I just my ls1 5.7 with its stock internals to work with that blower. An u said it would work just fine. I hope I get good results like your. It's going my 85 S10. Just want to say love your project hands down.🤘🏼
@@s10blackwidow that is gonna be sick. The m112 isnt as good as the m112 for sure but I would suggest getting it ported. They get really good gains from porting there is alot of gains to be had there. It just makes the blower flow more air and work more efficient overall. It should give you a nice powerband on that ls1 I would leave the current pulley on it see how much boost you're making and go from there. Adjust accordingly you might need to pulley down some more idk though.
anything works on anything, you just need to figure it out.....
There's a guy that has been using the factory throttle bodies on these blowers. I don't think it hurts.
Where did you tie in the bypass valve module at?
Do you have bad belt slip w the factory tensioner and about how many psi are you seeing with the crank and blower pulley
I don't really know about the belt slip. I'm not seeing any evidence or seeing it in a datalog but I have raised the blower 6 inches and the extra belt length will probably cause a problem. I should see it the next time I get to drive it.
I had a 84 GP in high school we pulled the 305 out and dropped a 350 Chevy with a th350 in it. How much you want for your car as is?
I couldn't sell it.
Do you have any video's of the build that you would share with us
I'll work out some details on this and let everyone know every single part you need.
@@DivineSpeed that would be assume thank you
What about a 2008 5.3 Tahoe? It's all Factor under the hood. How could I do it on it?
I'm not sure you could with this setup. Hood and cowl clearance being the issue.
which throws your head back more when you slam your foot on the gas? turbo or the supercharger? i want to make people cry when they ride shotty
A good supercharger would be more fun on the street but the turbo, in my opinion, makes more power. If I had the money for a good supercharger kit, I'd probably buy one.
Making me want to put on my 5.3
It was a good time but not for a long time. I switched back to a turbo.
I’m thinking of doing something very similar with a low ram, do you know what your intake temps are without an Intercooler?
I've seen it well above 300 but cooled it with a water meth. Straight water would cool it down to 130
I’m about to pull the trigger on this can you tell me how tall it is from valley cover to the top of blower
It was tall, lol. I no long have this setup and went back to a turbo so I don't have a way to measure it.
I got a lt1 supercharger charger im trying to put on a 5.3
The newest LT1?
Where did you get the plates for the kit!!?!?
I designed it but if you check the Divine Speed Team facebook page, there's a guy on there named Chandler Gains that is producing them now. I think he changed them to make it better.
I see those Jets
I used them too.
May I ask what kinda computer work needed to be done with this build
I ran a Holley Terminator X but it could have been done with the factory computer modified with HP Tuners or EFI Live.
My main question is how do you tune for an Eaton M122 Supercharger/blower on a GM engine?
Easy. Holley Terminator
G body👍parts combo👍👍👍
It's several different cars put together for sure.
Sheesh.. once you take note of all the custom parts and details in order to make this work good you should make a how to video. I wanna do this to my 5.3 Silverado! Good job man👍🏼
It will be coming apart in October so that is a good idea
Sweet! Subscribed
Thanks a lot
Very neat job enjoy it just saying
Thanks a lot.
Did you ever get rid of the blower? Trying a low budget build
I did sell it. Went back to a turbo but I'd like to put together another blower deal someday.
You need to make some kits for us poor folks lbvs
@solo901 it would still be expensive but I've looked into it. I'd need another company to cut the material and it gets pricey.
And it blows the tires off because you are on a slick/wet road.
It had just start to rain just a little bit. Still blows off these drag radials.
You still holding on to your or you went back turbo
I am waiting to see what it runs at the track before I go back to a turbo. I want to make this thing 60 foot
How much power did it make? I’m torn between trying this or build the engine for high compression. Only trying to hit 500-550
It ran a 7.30 in a 3600lb car in the 1/8 . I'm not sure what kindof power it made but you'll have a lot less trouble out of a naturally aspirated engine at 500 horse
@@DivineSpeed Alright thanks man. I still might try it since I got a blower for stupid cheap, do toy remember what your biggest problems were with doing this setup?
What power steering hose are you using on the pressure side?
Factory truck hose I believe
I know you're running a chevy motor but have a question.. would you be able to point me in the right direction? I have a 2013 supercharger from a gt500 is there anyone that makes a lower for a 351w so I can fit it?
Welllllllll, Holley makes a Hi-Ram intake now for the Ford engines. Same plenum bolt pattern as the intake I used. If you did what I did and make an adapter plate for the blower, you could possibly make it work that way. Other than that, you might look up the kenny brown kits. I think years ago there was a upper intake plenum that bolted to the factory ford lower intake. I've never messed with them so I can't say for sure but it's worth looking up.
@@DivineSpeed thank you for the reply I'll look into those brands I really appreciate it
If you get it figured out, I'd like to see it.
That would be so badass since it has 5.8 printed on the blower I haven't seen that done that is a really cool idea. Should make damn good power with some good heads and cam.
I'm getting the m112 off a gt500 for my 94 lt1. What adapter plate am I looking for??
M122 the m112 was on lightnings and terminators among other stuff stock.
@@midnight347 all good. I made my own plate n stuff.
What a monster. What convertor and trans do you have?
I'm not sure on the converter. It's a used 4000 stall. The trans is a FTI level 4 TH400
How much horsepower did you have before you put the blower on and what do you think you have now with the blower just roughly
It might have been a 350 horse engine tp start and it may have been making 500 on the first drive. I'm going to shppt for 600 on this motor before porting or changing pulleys
spin the wheel and guess, thats all you can do
OMG , I have that exact car on my garage. Mine is a 1982 with the same color paint job. I went with a slightly stroked (offset ground crank to give another .020" stroke , ZERO deck height) 350 Chevy out of an old suburban. I run a New Process MANUAL 4 speed adapted trans with a Ford 9" rear diff.
Goes like a sum' bitch
Mine is set up for running a 175HP cheater plate NOS system.
It's funny how rare these cars are in this area. Can't find parts for them. I've been meaning to take the front bumper out to modify it but haven't had time. I'll definitely try that though. I need to get weight off the nose and put weight in the rear.
How? How do I do this
I'm still working out the details
