It's finally time for me to write a comment about successfully passing the driving test. It was my second attempt, I watched the video, read the comments, was happy when people shared their joy of passing the test, I thought one day I will write. Thank you to the instructors for informative video, everything was laid out and explained. Those people who have not yet passed, and worried, I'll tell you, it's normal to worry, stress keeps us in tone. Those who do not succeed at the first time do not get upset, you learn from mistakes, you will succeed, do not give up! Good luck everyone 🍀🤞
Lads couldn’t recommend Dane’s videos more, failed my test 1st time round, started driving a lot more and watching Dane’s videos in between whenever I had a chance and especially coming up to the test itself. Didn’t do a single lesson in between and passed yesterday morning 2nd time! Dane’s videos were the lessons I needed 👍

Hi there, I just wanted to send along my thanks from Canada. I'll be in Ireland in September, and your videos have been so very helpful in getting prepared to drive over there. Thanks for the tip on this video about indicating while on a roundabout while going straight through. We don't have to do that on our roundabouts here in Ontario. They're not so organized as the ones you seem to have over there. Thanks so very much again for your practical and concise information.

My test was in Wicklow town. The test route had lots of slopes, and narrow roads. Even the reverse around the corner was on a gentle slope. The turn about was on a narrow road (I took a lot of time on that and got a grade 2). But I guess I did the observations correct.

Passed on my first attempt today with a BIG thanks to your videos!! Crammed them in the past few days, and they really made me feel confident going in.
My only points were for progress on roundabouts, and to be honest could have caused me to fail (3 grade twos all for being too cautious at roundabouts, so one more of those and I would have had four under the same heading!).
They all happened in the latter half of the test (he didn’t open the iPad for the first half), and it was after all of my reversing and turnabout. When I did those there were about 20 children running around the estate so it definitely had a lasting effect on how cautious I was being. So make sure you’re prepared for lots of kids, especially now that they’re on summer hols!!

My advice is to try go for a big walk the day before, watch a few videos and head to bed early.
I had a big breakfast and did a pretest before my test and my instructor brought me to the test centre. 😊

Today I was doing my Second Driving Lesson for the EDT. And I was driving around Castlebar today. Knowing how to use the Roundabouts correctly? But it was hard trying to use them right. Especially with the steering and wasn't going at the right speeds again to. Since I was trying to be careful and to not hit anyone. Like a good driver but I did well. But I need more practice.
On the 3rd exit shown here what exactly are the correct indicator signals for the approach and exit of the roundabout?
Passed today. Not my first or second go. One of my instructors recommended your channel and I must say it has been a great help. There is just two manoeuvres in the test a turnabout and reverse round the corner also a hill start hopefully that helps gd luck 😊
A reverse around the corner, Turnabout and hill start. This is why I recommend getting driving lessons so you can learn facts and reality from a professional.
Should I indicate around a big traffic lighted roundabout or only when changing lanes?
Do you indicate right before entering the roundabout and then left at your exit
Do I get indicate right if taking the third exit and indicate left after I pass the second exit
If the indicator switch off early, is it right to turn it back on as you are navigating the r/about?

Dan, just got my license 2 weeks back. Despite this, im still very nervous about going on roads im unfamilar with. I ventured 2 towns down last week and almost panicked thinking ive gone on the opposite side of the road at a blind junction (i didnt, the junction was just very weird). What tips would you have for a novice driver whos able to drive alone? Ever since i got my license my stress driving has skyrocketed. Id imagine its because i feel pressured of whats expected of me. Your worst fears don't happen, try to do meditation.

Your initial waiting period may reduce as you get through the system.

Try to trust the mental capacity of the tester, they are usually capable of good judgement.

What about when you do the observations, and the Tester Does not see it, you have to do the looks and make sure the tester sees you looking at the mirror, The Problem is These Testers are getting away with marking you just because they didn't see you doing your observation,
You say not hearing the tick tock sound means there is a problem with your indicators but this isn't necessarily true because I have a Seat Cordoba and it doesn't make any noise at all
