      ​@@queeniegreengrass3513 I did see a girl (?) doing a sort of Titanic pose in between the triangle shape, but again it is an abstract piece so to each their own I guess. It was fun seeing daddy Sinix doing his own take tho, made me watched all of his Paintsploration series again lol

      @@queeniegreengrass3513 haven't seen his paintover yet but I see a cat's face, and a woman or maybe child wearing a sun hat! Just from a glance, haven't looked too closely elsewhere
      Edit: I also see clouds, it looks like reflections of faces at a low angle, like it is a puddle?

    So helpful to hear what you say about paintings where I would be like "can't see anything wrong". You make me remember to think about stuff I would never notice

    12:46 is my favorite. Its wild how easy you make the rendering process look. Defintely a style that I love.

      rightt, he made me realize that rendering wasnt super hard, and that gradients helps so much

    I feel like the dog one coul've been improved a lot by just adding more canvas in the direction the dog was looking. It just felt kinda awkward seeing him stare out of bounds if that makes sense

      Don't forget that he was following the existing shapes of the original abstract painting, it's not like he was composing a dog painting from scratch.. he merely fleshed out the shapes and that was quite interesting in my opinion.

    literally binged half of the series, trying to spot areas to be improved and then comparing with what sinix does, then annotated the same things to improve in my own project that I could find. I have been sleeping on this series, it's a goldmine of tips. I gotta sub to the pateron soon.

    I just discovered your channel because I just bought myself an iPad Pro after about 7 years of not drawing at all and they’re very educational and inspirational. I feel like I learn the most from the Paintover pals because lighting and shape finishing touches are always my weakest point and seeing you make them better with very little and practical touches is astounding. Keep it up! 🔥

    i watched this during a meeting because i thought it would be nice way to keep me awake but once i reached the end I just can't stop myself from laughing at how it suddenly turned into a dog and also Dune

    Love your videos. I have an idea for one: I think I've watched nearly every one of your videos and you use the term "graphical" a lot. But I don't think you have ever posted a video discussing the term or the concept. I'm *pretty sure* I know what you mean by it, but clarifying and sharing your thoughts about "graphical" as an artistic element would be interesting content.

    Although I am self taught (Well maybe not, since I am using YT vids) and 1 year into this process... I love seeing these types of things because they help me grasp certain concepts that I can use in my future paintings. I did a digital self portrait I think I did great for 1 year of self guided experience. I had to stop over the summer because it was so hot my laptop overheated. (AC is dead)

    I actually really liked the bunny with the x shape with the hair and ears. It really brought my eyes to it, but I think the issue there is the face has to do something special if attention is focused there. No idea though I just liked the design 😆
