    Lifelong UW fan, U$C can certainly be great, but they have to hire a coach that prioritizes toughness. Pete Carrol got 4-5 stars to play like they had a 3 star chip on their shoulders. I told other B1G fans that SC hasn’t been relevant on the field in since the pac 10 became 12 and they won’t be until they get a blue collar coach.

      USC has to compete with Oregon, who is a top team on the field, has excellent facilities, and most importantly, is willing to pay kids more than anyone else.

    • @calvinblack9459
      @calvinblack9459 8 днів тому

      @ but that’s not an in state power school with a lot of football history. If you wanna extend it more regional, then Miami had not only UF and FSU but also Bama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia…

    • @RyanCuen
      @RyanCuen 7 днів тому

      @@calvinblack9459 It might as well be an in state school. All the schools you mentioned are in states that produce tons of talent. Oregon is not like this, so they go down to the closest state with talent (California) and drop tons of money on these kids. The west is not the same as the east. Outside of California, talent is much less prevalent, so Oregon, Washington, Utah, etc. go to USC’s recruiting ground and take players. It was different before NIL, but now these kids just go to the highest bidder.

    • @RyanCuen
      @RyanCuen 7 днів тому

      And football history means almost nothing nowadays when money is involved. The greatest proof of that is Oregon (0 national championships in 130 years, yet the biggest checkbook, equals the number one ranked team in the country).

    Lincoln leaving Oklahoma may go down as one of the worst decisions in the history of College Football. My Sooners aren't in a much better situation after this past season, but this is exactly what would've happened at OU if he stayed. It's clear he made an emotionally-driven decision because of his disdain for OU AD Joe Castiglione, OU Compliance (not a fan of them either) and living in Bob Stoops shadow.
    Real shame he can't go to Coaching Rehab (being an analyst under Saban at Bama).... I'm sure his $85M + buyout can help soothe him.

    This coaching staff struggles to "coach up" and develop the talent that they already have or had in house. Players sense this. This results in mediocre play on the field. Can you imagine Coach Riley being able to really inspire, fire up and/or motivate players before or during the game???? Based on the public demeaner of this coach, I can confidently say: "PROBABLY NOT". Results in play that is uninspired, not genuinely fired up and shallowly motivated. Wish it could be different. Doesn't seem to be. :( Riley is probably more suited to be a position coach or offensive coordinator. MAYBE. :(

    Who are you 🤡’s, do you know what you’re even talking about. Let’s retract, Hudson made a few spectacular catches, but wasn’t a big contributor, to USC’s offense, same could be said about Robinson. Lane, Lemon, the Tight Ends and Marks out of the backfield was their offense. Zachariah Branch turned out to be a high school superstar, just like his former teammate Raleek Brown, and where’s Brown now, buried somewhere in ASU’s depth chart. Branch’s brother was a non-contributor because he was injured 90 percent of his career. Joyner leaving is no big deal, he’s already been replaced by 1,000 yard rusher Eli Sanders out of New Mexico, Iowa State prior to that. Then you have left guard Emmanuel Pregnon, and Alami Noa back, that’s 60 percent of your offensive line returning. You then got Keeshawn Silver the Big Defensive Tackle from Kentucky committing to USC yesterday, on top of Kamari Ramsey announcing he is returning. Then the NCAA ruling on Junior College transfers, gives 6’3” CB DeCarlos Nicholson another year. So where you casuals see doom and gloom, I see nothing but vast improvements with more to come. Wait until teams start getting knocked out of the playoffs and Deion runs off to the NFL, USC will be much better, and casual fake podcaster like you all will be shown to be the 🤡’s you are!

      @@micah7405Just because someone had 5 stars out of high school, doesn’t mean he’s automatically the best player on the team. Would I have liked to keep Duece or Joyner, yes, but there is not one other significant loss. To say USC lost all of their best players just indicates that you have no clue, and makes me wonder why you even took the time to comment.
