I have firmware version 1.00 in my PID controller La Pavoni. When the machine is turned off, if you press both arrow buttons on the PID controller and hold them, and then turn on the machine, you can enter the PID controller programming mode. There you can choose to display degrees in Celsius and Fahrenheit and set the proportional, integral and differentiated coefficients. There is also an offset coefficient f.04 which is set at the factory to 27 degrees Celsius. That is, if the temperature on the PID regulator is set to 90 degrees, then in fact the temperature in the brewing boiler will be 117 degrees. Because of this, the machine heats up very quickly, but after 30 minutes there is constantly overheated water.
Which machine makes coffee taste better? In vbm or in la pavoni? I have lelit anna pid, I bought myself la pavoni botticelli. Now I’m really thinking about whether the espresso in Lelit Anna is denser and tastier. At la pavoni, the espresso is drinkable and light. I don’t understand why I’m overpaying.
Hi, I got the same exact grinder about 3 weeks ago, I notice the static at the dosing shoot retain about 0.2g of coffee. I wondering if you seen similar situation
I just bought this myself but I am confused by what you meant by zero point? Am I gonna have to do that when I get mine as well? Is it not aligned out of the box? I am new to coffee and I am going from an Aeropress to a dedicated machine so I got a nice grinder because I was told it was important to get a good grinder comparable to the cost of your machine and use fresh beans but I don't understand the whole flat burr or conical and was just watching videos that flat burr is better for espresso. Since I just make Cappuccinos I figured that this would be more than sufficient as I learn to make better and better espesso but I don't get the whole zero point alignment or even how to start with pulling my first shot. Like how did you know to start at 10?
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore Awesome :) thank you! I look forward to it :D I just ordered my DF64 and got upgraded burrs and just bought my espresso machine! I am super excited! 🥹 can't wait to learn how to get a good espresso or pour over to really upgrade my coffee hobby.
I looked on the Internet for expobar brewtus e61 and bezzera unica e61, they recommend setting the displacement coefficient f.04 to 10 degrees Celsius or 18 degrees Fahrenheit. For comparison, I looked at the factory settings on my Lelit Anna PID; on it, the displacement coefficient f.04 is generally 0 degrees, that is, what is the temperature on the PID, is the same temperature on the sensor in the boiler. If anyone has thermometers with remote sensors, has anyone taken measurements of the temperature of the water leaving the group at La Pavoni Botticelli?
So what burr set did the grinder come with ?
Have you done multiple shots on the DF64?
More than 2? Does the grinder heat up? Change the grind due to temp?
Usually I do at least 2 shots each time. The motor does heat up but not the coffee ground.

main difference is built quality. all these machines make good espresso. Personally i think both machines are good.

DF64 Gen 2, DF64V or Sculptor 078S? Is DF64V much more messy? I'm looking for an all-purpose grinder and I have limited space
Let me do a video on these 3 grinders.
how's burr alignment?
Its 90% or better on my gen 2
Hello CY is this available now at ASK
yes its available.
Is this available DF 64 gen 2?
Currently we are out of stock.

I was disappointed after purchasing la pavoni botticelli. 6 times more expensive than lelit anna pid, I liked the taste of lelit better, it’s denser
personally i dont think its the machine. most likely is the freshness and roast level of the beans and your puck prep.
Looks good, but I’m happy with my DF. ❤
me too. i am still loving my Gen 1. Its just work.
Dont you want to run some old coffee through it, or raw rice. Get those burrs worked in.?
You definitely can. Just that I choose not too. I like seasoning it slowly over time.
Sorry for my english language
no problem at all
