Nice got 2 MT09's 1 SXR900 1 CBR600RR and 1 CBR1000RR and picking up the new KLX300SM. So far like the MT09 and the 600RR the best. Can't wait to play with the KLXSM I get this felling it's going to be my best bike.
get the z900 you will ride it more i sold my 636 its too uncomfortable to enjoy. the z900 is pretty much as fast and has way more tourqe for the street.
I chose the z900 because it is a very quick bike, the 636 isnt way faster. They are both about equivilant with 0-60 and 0-100, top end is about the same too. But the primary reason I chose the z900 is it was going to be a little more comfortable and more fun to ride around the city.
Can confirm the 636 is faster than the z900. Taken mine to the track and it basically gobbles up anything which isnt a litre bike on the straights. Considerably faster than an R6, duke 890r, z900, MT09… Dont understand your issue with the quickshifter tho. 1st to second is quite harsh in the low revs but when you are full throttle it is smooth enough.
@@Coine611 What else was on your shopping list? Z900 is completely different to the 636 and you cant really compare them. Z900 is a street bike. 636 is a race bike adapted to the street.
@@Stratocasterhead51 I'm moving up from a Ninja 400. I want something quicker but that has good handling. I don't think i can ride a liter bike to it's full potential on the streets so i rather get a middleweight. My options so far were ZX6R, R6, Z900, Street Triple R, and Duke 890R. I think I'm leaving the z900 out now and looking into the rest. I know they all have different characteristics except for maybe the ZX6R and R6 which are probably the closest in feel.
I have a 2020 z900abs for my 1/2 hour commute to work and my 1/2 commute back home , 5-6 days a week , and I’m in the market for a new bike , perhaps a new zx6r , so I don’t rack up too many miles (already a 8,000 miles on the z900)... so I m seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on a new zx6r , but I just don’t want to feel like it’s sub par to my z900abs , i was also thinking about getting another new z900abs se or an Mt09sp , which would you pick being that if you started on a 2018 Vulcan S to a 2020 z900abs , what would be your third bike , you think you’d go after ..??? Being that you’d want to keep it under 12 to 13 thousand dollar 💵... sorry if this is hard to understand , I have issues communicating 🥶
Just reading what you're saying, and what you're saying about literbikes is the same with the zx6r and especially the R6. And they are unbearable to ride for more than an hour. If you want fun on the streets, the z900, the Duke, and the STriple are miles better. The Z has more torque and a good low power setting (75hp) for if things get dicey. You should also check out the Aprilia RS660 and Tuono 660. I wish those were around when I had my Ninja 650.

I'm trying so hard to decide between a z900 or a 636
