Seeing you with your lovely mother always brings a lump to my throat. I'm the same age as you and I lost my 96 Yr old mum to cofid last year. You are fortunate to keep these precious times together in your vlogs. On a happier note I've just made a quilted Peter Rabbit holdall for a new grandson. Similar material as your intended quilt. 💕

The quilt is going to be so pretty.that fabric is adorable. Good job cutting the fabric pattern on point. I'd cut a few then realize I had them crooked..🙄
It is so interesting to hear the history. I think what is learned in a classroom is often glossed over, there is only so much time in a day and millions of years to learn. It's fun to hear the details from someone who remembers living it. the good ole days often had struggles too. Your mom is a treasure.

Hiya Pene. Lovely to see you today. This week has flown by. Really the year is flying too. I've just lit candles for the first time in ages.
Lots of great crafts this week. Especially love your long socks, definitely going to have a go at some for myself. Looking forward to seeing the next bit of quilt. I've been investigating crumb quilts, to use scrap bits of fabric.

Hi Angela, yes the long socks are a hit. Too warm at the moment. Last night was still and boiling hot! I have made the crumb quilt, satisfying and if the fabrics used are favourites fun to ponder and look at them I think, have a go! Enjoy your week too xx
