Thanks for much for the shoutout Jana. You made me blush! 😊😊 The jumper you are wearing is so pretty. I just bought another skein of boucle to make a teddy clutch - that yarn is so addictive.

I think we are living parallel lives here. I had 4 cords of wood delivered this past week and in the last 24 hours we've gone from snow, to sleet, to freezing rain (.5cm of ice coated everything), then back to sleet, then 10cm of snow, and now the wind has picked up. Trees and branches are falling everywhere and lots of people are without power. And my firewood is covered in ice and snow. It's frozen to itself and the ground. Of course, next week is supposed to be 10C, so I'll be able to get to it, but definitely not today or tomorrow. So much for the weekend. haha The little blue flowers are called Grape Hyacinth here in the mountains of NY.

Jana, I'm always happy when your videos arrive. How about knitting a sweater for your daughter with the Noro yarn? Or a matching baby blanket and baby hat set, saved for the next time you need a baby gift. I've had a pattern for a set like that for 20 years and used it several times. I think the designer is Heather Finch, published by Ann Norling patterns.

Your boucle yarn is gorgeous and I think that white would be an interesting compliment to soften it, but allowing all the colours to shine. 😍
I wondered what that was at the beginning of the video. I have never heard of a booknook and it makes me want to try one too, but I fear falling down that rabbit hole too. lol
I'm a lover of plants both indoor and outdoor. Cute spring set up in the outro. Are those candy eggs?
    See you next week. ❤

Eggatha Crispy says Hi to Glucky! Thank you for the podcast, just what I needed. I also had to rip back this week, after making a mistake in my Whitmoor cardigan and thinking I could just ladder down only to figure out you can't do so in lace (or at least I don't know how to do it without loosing all my stitches...). It was one big mess, so I ripped back and now I'm back on track! Have a wonderful week and see you next itme!

Always a pleasure to visit with you Jana! The book nook is adorable! Could you mention where the kit comes from? It is so incredibly detailed! Your Eurus sweater is great! Your Eurus is beautiful. Cross stitch was my first craft 40 years ago, and I'm back into it this year a lot. I have more projects than I will ever finish. Same with quilting fabric. And probable knitting yarn too. This year my goal is to work from stash and see how much I can finish.

Definitely getting to be spring here on the west coast of Canada! But it’s also raining………
Finishing the last part of the second sleeve on my Secret Garden Sweater ( by Elenor Mortensen)! So excited to finish. I did finish my chicken! Who would have thought a stuffed toy chicken would be such a delight and comfort! I also finished a Roly Poly Pill Bug (JoansGarden) neck cushion, and some Vamps - very think colour work socks/slippers. They are wonderful inside Crocs or clogs.
Definitely you need that shawl in the cheerful boucle! I love having more than one project at a time, to give me a break, for my hands, and my brain. I love a mindless knit for watching podcasts, and more interesting for just the enjoyment while knitting by the window on on the deck outside when the sunshines.
I’m thinking of a Whitehorse by Caitlin Hunter in a cotton blend for a summery sweater, and finish an Elton (Joji) for my Mom.
There will be crochet as well over spring, for an Afghan/blanket.
Hope spring arrives soon, and hurray for more firewood, nothing like the warmth and crackling of a wood fire, even if it is a lot of work stacking it. I really miss my wood stove, but glad I don’t have to split wood, as I doubt I could now!
So good to see you, via video! I sure enjoy your chats and sharing.

Thank you for sharing… I happen to have a Ranunculus on the needles, while I finish up my West Dover Cardigan(Noro Kureyon), Alpine Bloom (for my granddaughter’s birthday), a Traveler Cowl (Noro Silk Garden Sock) and a Rumplestilskin (2 Zauberball)!! I’m happy to share the many WIP brain with you… along with spinning (alpaca from a farm) and crocheting Easter baskets/colorful dishcloths!

You could totally do a sort-sleeved (spring!) Ranunculus out of 900m! And I love your Stormtrooper sweater... and I feel your pain about those 3 mm needles. I have a Jared Flood I started making for my husband about 8 years ago... someday I'll finish it. It's a nightmare of cables... But I think the last time I picked it up I kept good notes about where I was. Hope so! So glad you're feeling better. It's hard with kids in school... it gets better tho! Cheers to spring!

Thank you Jana for such a nice visit. And to answer your question about whether organizing/tidying leads to things being misplaced...yes, it definitely happens to me too. I am powering along on my Nordic knit sweater, last week I joined the first sleeve to the body and I am working on the second sleeve this weekend. My other project is a emotional support chicken and her tail feathers are done. One of our cats crossed over the rainbow bridge today and knitting is definitely helping me through.

I think the craft you are thinking of is called needle felting in English. I like all three of the sweaters you are considering, but personally I would avoid Love note only because I don't use mohair. I Teams messaged at work a week or so ago that I need an emotional support chicken! Haha, the comment was completely lost on my team, but felt good to say it anyway. :D Take care, Jana!
