When I started knitting, I was on the lookout for some inspiration and came across Kika’s channel. And that was exactly what I needed - a person so much in love with what she’s doing, full of buzz and enthusiasm. Love it! 🥰

Kika, you don't know how much I love these vlogs!! It's also just so inspiring to see how knitting is so natural for you and I'm always amazed on how you free hand your knits, and then are able to create a pattern with it. I also love knitting while watching these vlogs!! 30 min vlogs are the best !!!
We need a pattern for a lightweight, summer cardi to wear over the Sailor Swift top when it gets chilly at night!!
Great advice for new knitters. I struggled to knit until I really examined how stitches are formed. Then I was able to develop a knitting method that worked best for me.
Pleaseeeee please please make a pattern for the blue sweater you made up last summer. I absolutely adore it. It was one of my inspirations for learning how to knit. I am currently working on your ooh la la top and am loving it ❤

Kika I loved this podcast! It had everything, travel to Finland, gorgeous scenery, knitting, a food blooper, and a movie! That shade of pink is perfect for your cardigan. I love it! Also your sisters sweater is beautiful too, the icy blue at the top is my favorite color. The cats are so adorable. Please keep including us, I love seeing what Finland looks like and knitting along. I'm ripping out over 6" on a cardigan, it's too long in the body. At least it's an easy fix. But 100% Alpaca is a bit clingy when you're trying to frog. Have a great weekend!
To unravel easier, put your garment on an ice pack.

Hi. I am impressed by your knowledge of knitting, and your beautiful items you knit. I like the wedding dress you knitted in such a short time before your wedding. It came out beautifully. You looked beautiful in your wedding dress. I have been knitting again after watching a podcast with the name Fruity Knitting. Your top in stripes with a darker color and white came out great. I knitted a blanket in garter stitch for my granddaughter in the colors of her University which she into a few days ago. She called me on Face Time in the evening she moved to her dorm and she showed it to me putting the blanket on her bed. I am happy that she likes it and will enjoy using it. Take Care. 😊

Please do a pattern for this cardigan. It’s just what I’m looking for! It is beautiful. Thank you for sharing the beautiful Finnish countryside with us too. I’m in Australia so it’s very different from what I’m used to. Jumpers of any kind in summer is very different from what I’m used to! And I like the idea of being able to safely bask in your gentle sunshine for hours without burning to a crisp and always worrying about skin cancer.

Yes, the ties at the front remind me of the bed jackets my granny wore. Great to see you with your sister, knitting together. I never had a sister but my mother and I used to knit when I was in high school. She would knit the body, I'd knit the sleeves then she would assemble. It was such a great combination for the two of us. She passed away when I was completing my university degree many years ago but I still channel her when I am knitting, always thinking how much she'd love to have been alive since knitting is now a daily activity for me.
Ohhhh I would love a pattern for the big blue oversized sweater! Since you uploaded the vlog in which you knitted it, I couldn’t stop thinking about it and have been searching for a pattern like that ever since! 🩷 It truly is the most perfect laidback summer sweater ☀️

I like that sweater you were wearing. I just used a linen/cotton yarn from KnitCrate that had those little pieces of straw. I was picking them out as I knitted. So I know what you mean.

I think one tie on the sweater would look very nice. You can play with
creating that style with different closures. You could always just knot
the tie instead of making it a bow. That would be less cutesy, as you had
mentioned. Great work! Enjoyed the video.

that pink is indeed PERFECT!!! And so is the idea of putting safety pins to get a precise gauge measure. Wine bottle makes a good rolling pin in a pinch!!
The cord made the cardigan look like a bed-jacket! The snaps are great.

haven't had a chance to purchase your book but i do want it as most of your garments are seamless & that's what i'm trying to teach myself, am on my 1st top down & it's a little wonky, would love if you did a tutorial on just a basic seamless sweater

just love it when you take us for small tours around your homes, this country one is adorable & deserves to be preserved for the next generations to come but don't stress trying to get things done, it looks like the country houses are shared, so just share the costs of the restorations, learn also to slow down, that's what country living is about, getting out of the rat race & slowing down to live off the land & what we make ourselves
adore your cats, hope to see more of them; it's lovely seeing them in odd videos enjoying your company; have 2 rescues myself who just don't like each other & constantly fight, shame but it's been 5yrs now & they're still not friends

Lovely vlog and cardigan!! Loved seeing Finland. I grew up in cottage country in Ontario, Canada many decades ago and your landscape is a close match. We also had blueberries everywhere and blueberry pie is also my favorite. I just saw the Barbie movie myself and I took my Purl Soho half and half triangle wrap to the theatre to keep warm.
