Personally I prefer the Stan's. Yet both are a very classic shoe. I own one of each, but personally I find the Stan's have a little more "class" and not as chunky.

The problem I have with the Stan Smith is that it is common. When I'm outside, I noticed that almost every other person is wearing it. That's how common it is where I'm at. So I choose the Superstar.
That and the quality went down the drain. Now all the Stan’s are made out of recycled materials and no longer leather. The superstars on the other hand, are still made with leather!

I think that the Superstar's are a bit better from the Stan Smith's due to the small details that have been taken in consideration from the Brand. Such as Superstar written with golden letters and also the shell toe. But, both shoes are really cool! 😊

Stan Smith is classic shoes that looks modern yet Superstar is classic shoes also associsted with vintage vibe. Once you see a superstar you remind of 1980s while stan smith reminds you of your high school days.

Stan Smith for narrow feet, superstar for wide feet. I own superstar and very comfortable to move and walk around. I can even run with it. Also, the shoe toe box is wider.

Personally, I have both and love them equally and wear them equally so they don’t wear out too fast. However Stan’s are more likely to get compliments from sneaker head buddies and, well, people in general.

I get way more compliments wearing my black and white Superstars than my green white Stan's.

I love superstars and stans equally. Stan Smiths are a little more dressy and can be worn with more casual gear. I usually find that Stans don't go well with black socks, but you pulled it off great by blending the socks into the nice tight black pants...

For the people that Superstar is too bulky is because it’s a basketball shoe back in the day.... and usually they are worn by wide footed players..... but my opinion, as a basketball fan I go with the Superstar... I have them both but I like the silhouette of the Superstar more than the classic plain white.... I’ll give a slight edge for the Superstar

My mom has the Stans Smith in white and blue. I have the Superstar in Black with the white lines/Logo. Ive worn the Stans Smith once because my mom didnt like the color and told me to try it for the day😂. It wasnt the right size for me because i have big feet. So my grandpa got me the superstar same day as i tried to wear the stans smith. So id just choose stans smith if i could get it for free😂.

I have both of them in the same size and fit fairly true to size. Most I will do is go half a size down if you want a more fitted fit
