  • Lyndon Mcleod was a narcissistic misogynist, resentful toward everyone who had wronged him in the past. He went on to write a fantasy self-insert trilogy all about himself, which ended in a grizzly murder streak. Eventually, Lyndon went on to recreate these actions in real life...

Authoring a trilogy all about yourself as an extraordinarily gifted human is certainly right up there in the league of red flags... This is one of those cases where, no matter how much you look into it, you simply can't believe the details given... I hope you find this one as interesting as I do! And I don't do this often but if you'd like to see additional content on these cases, you can find them amongst other things over on my Instagram and Twitter.

I was good friends with Sarah, the girl who died at the hotel, we worked at that hotel front desk together. The day she died was the day my life was turned upside down. Our work family also likes the poetic justice with being shot down by a lady cop, who survived the attack. We couldn't have wished for a better outcome, as if he had survived, we would have been dragged down a world of court, and knowing he's dead and no longer a threat has been a blessing.
Miss my work bestie though. 😞

Second, an alpha male isn't a bully; he's a protector. Look at wolf packs - the alpha is established, protects, and provides for the pack.

As someone who has trodden the opioid addiction path and experienced the mental illness addiction brings I can understand how this happens. It's not the unique cause of course, lots of folks who struggle with addiction never even look at this road, let alone go down it, but for some it is a doorway that gradually opens into madness. Your brain begins to lie to you, and your perception of what's important gets blurry and you start caring about the wrong things. It almost cost me everything, I was dragged back from the brink in the nick of time. I was days away from doing some truly stupid things. I'm 18 months clean now, and doing a lot better. When I think about the place where I was and the decisions I was making it almost seems like it was someone else doing that. I'm ashamed of it, and I work every day to ensure the one I hurt during that time never experiences that again. We're doing good now, and I owe it all to her.
None of this is any kind of excuse for what Lyndon Mcleod did, but I can definitely see how he got to where he was in his mind. Opioids are wicked and insidious, and it happens so slowly you don't even realise it until something happens to wake you up. If you're struggling with it, get help. Otherwise it won't end well.

@@fukcensorship9395 The entire point of narcissism is being incredibly insecure though?
They want eyes on them all the time and to seem better at everything, a narcissist's existence is not only torture to the people around them but to themselves for having to try so hard to matter, it would be funny if it weren't so pathetic

@@fukcensorship9395 I think you should look up the definition of clinical narcissism, known as narcissistic personality disorder. While we don't have an official diagnosis for this guy for obvious reasons, deep insecurity is one of the defining characteristics of narcissism. Their grandiose self-image is a protection mechanism to hide deep feelings of shame about what they actually are.

This is true. As a woman I find men who behave very macho very unattractive because I know that they really are insecure little boys. I like real men who are secure with who they are and feel no need to 'puff' themselves up.

This whole alpha male thing is baffling to me. It's not actually how wolves work. The guy who originally coined the term has talked about it so often.
So dude's like Lyndon have to be stupid enough to think that's how animals work. And then extra stupid to think that the social dynamics of wolf packs apply to humans for some reason. It's such a distorted view of reality and it's frightening how prevalent it is.

True, wolves in nature generally just form packs of a male, a female, and their not-yet sexually mature cubs. The "alpha" behaviour is only seen on the occasion they form larger packs, which is forced in a zoo, which is where wolves were initially studied.

Some people just wanna feel superior to others to make up for their own insecurities.
Alrhough, while the alpha terminology may be inaccurate, it is true that human collectives often tend to form hierarchies based on behavior and clout. But this guy was not really at the top of any hierarchy anyway. If anything he was an outcast.
