I don't understand how to avoid snapping the door lock module. Isn't it connected to the actual regulator? I am totally stuck at this point trying to get the regulator out... Seems attached to regulator so I don't know how to remove it
Do not take out the powermotor if you dont must do it. Just disconect the power socket. Save you a heck lot of trouble if the wirewheel behind the motor fell out. Been there done that 😭

I found a car identical to mine. They 2003 Passat GL. The only difference that had wood grain and leather mine did it. So I started changing out interior. as soon as I put these first door panel on. My windows wouldn't roll down my dash lights were telling me my cargo hold was open, it was telling me my driver door was open and it was not. Could someone please help me. What did I do wrong do I need to replace all of the mechanisms with the car I'm getting the leather and wood grain from? Please help and thank you a lot!!!
Im missing my 3 T30 bolts that hold on the motor. Do you know the thread?
does anyone know of the part number for the three door trim panel grommets? opened my door up today and found a jerry-rigged mounting which does not work correctly. need to get the grommets inserted back in the door.

TUTORIALE AUTO by following your video as you did.. you had no mention of how to avoid breaking that plastic piece. At the time of install this video was little help and more of an amateur vlog FYI
Same here. What good is a DIY video that is missing a critical step.
My problem is that the window falled inside, so I cannot raise the window. I hope I will not dage something there if I do not unscrew the two screws from the window mechanism....
My problem is the cable has snapped or come off its guides or something with the glass in the *down* position. So alas the clamp screws aren't visible through those two holes which relies on the glass being *up* . Any thoughts please on what to do? I'd be happy for now if I could force the glass up to make the vehicle secure!
I was kinda hoping that with the glass down, the sheet metal would come out bringing the glass with it. I can't see what's preventing that. (I bet thats the way it's built?- fit glass to panel then fit panel to door, rather than bugger around sliding the glass down in through its slot?)
