Is it necessary to remove the door trim inside if I am just taking off the outside trim to look at the window? I'm not replacing the regulator or removing the window. Thanks :)
Why you didn't remove the crash bars? Wouldn't that make it easier to replace the window or is there another reason as of why not removing them?
Your video shows the passenger side and I need to work on the driver side. Where do I start as the inside panels of the two doors are very different?

Anyone know where I can get drivers side window regulator the whole part with motor, so hard to find any help is welcome
if i just wanted to take the glass out due to it being cracked would i have to remove inside of the door like you did at the start of the video ?
Yes, you have to do that because you have to remove the window motor before you take the glass out.
@@Servicetutorials the guy in the video didn't take the motor off first he put the window down to the bottom took the body glass out, then started taking the motor out, he unplugged the motor first by taking the door card off, which I see as pointless, if your taking the motor out from the outside can't he in bolt it then turn it around and unplug it without the door card coming off
Why did the door card come off...??? It seems like everything comes off from the door skin side or am I missing something or does it need to come off I'm sometimes wrong 😁
And why loosen the bolts around the outside of the door skin before the door handle comes off, surely you wantmthe door as stable a surface as possible for the lock barrel coming off and the hole for the T20 torx bolt in the door handle may be a little out of line if the door skin is loose...those handles can be stuck in good with a door skin flapping about it doesn't make sense, if the doors loose and your pulling at a handle and that door moves, something is getting chipped or dented guaranteed...
I'm going to do one of the window regulators soon, and I don't want to do more work than what's need
there's nothing worse than taking loads of parts off to find it was clip holding the first part on.. not bolted from the back 4 hours later

Hi , no matter what I do I cannot get the lock to slide out , even prying , watched many other vids about counting turns on screw now it's fell out behind skin 🤣 and still won't slide lock out
Has anybody had a problem getting the passenger side door handle off when changing window regulator? I have all bolts out and door lock loosened. Any help is great thanks.
Hi! You have to slide that handle towards the back of the car and then remove it.

did you disconnect the car battery for this job?
Obviously not if he had to put the window down.
