  • This is a pretty straight forward way to remove a mower blade without the help if any special tools. I want everyone to thumbs up my video equipment or I'll hunt you down! Just kidding but it would be nice. Thanks for watching!

      I love this comment! Good morning Robbie. Rough night? Anyways whenyou clear the anger out of your eyes you can plainly see that the blade adapter comes off by going the opposite way a clock works. NOT A DIGITAL CLOCK!. Righty tighty, lefty loosey. Dont forget to subscribe buddy!

    Holy cannoli it works! I’ve been grunting w this thing for 30 minutes. FYI, not super strong female here. I did EXACTLY as video shows. THANK YOU! Still needed to apply my max pressure but I had no special tools- just the socket set he showed. 👍🏻

    Two thumbs up 👍! This helped me a whole lot. I didn't have to get a clamp or breaker bar. It saved me time and money. It just took a minute just to change my blade. Thanks 😊

    I went through several videos and still couldn't get the blade off. The nut was just stuck. Your 'trick' with the box wrench and socket, for increased leverage, did it! Neat trick.

    Awesome, and thanks for the tip on using the crescent as a breaker bar. I bent the crap out of my blade and my impact wrench didn't budge the bolt, but by using your method I was able to break it free!

    • @ZombieDaveAZ

      If you hit something hard enough to bend the blade and stop the mower, chances are you sheared the flywheel key. Now your mower won't start at all and if it's only partially sheared the pull rope will get yanked out of your hands when you try to start it. Good luck brother.

      There's on a couple sizes so there is a very good chance that you can interchange them.

    Bout time someone gave you the size of the socket. It may not match your lawn motor socket but at least you will be in the ballpark to bring out 1 or 2 sizes below or one or two sizes above instead of hauling your whole socket set somewhere or around

      Righty tighty, lefty loosey applies to this blade removal. Use a block of wood to prevent the blade from moving and shock the wrench with a hammer. It will come loose.

      If you want put plastic over the gas filler neck and screw cap on. Oil is not a problem tipped back. Don't tip it towards the carb. You made 2 very good points. Thank you.

    • @ZombieDaveAZ
      @ZombieDaveAZ  3 роки тому +2

      Daniel, something doesn't seem right. Looking at the mower blade it should come off lefty loosely. With the amount of leverage you say you were using it should have snapped the bolt off. Spray with penetrating oil and heat the bolt. See if that takes it off. If not either take it to a pro and sharpen it on the machine. That's all I got for you brother.

      @@ZombieDaveAZ Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. At first I was turning clock wise. I didn't realize it was reverse threaded. But I've soaked it with Wd-40 and am going to try again with a different wrench tomorrow. Don't know what the heck is wrong with it.

      Hey William, if you need to apply more leverage use longer wrenches. And yes sometimes they are super stuck on there so an impact wrench May be necessary. Good luck buddy
