Hey there how do we activate the reverse buzzer on Jetta Rline 2021?
Thanks for the question. Two ideas to try. I would try putting the car in reverse, then look closely at any icon that is on the screen, one of them could turn on or off your rear parking sensors (most people use this feature either when backing up to a trailer, or backing up with a trailer). The other idea is to check under settings in the infotainment screen and look for any category about safety and click on it. The ability to turn on or off your backup sensors might be there as well. Can you raise the volume on your alerts?
I believe so. Click on the sounds icon, then at the bottom of the screen click on the speaker icon. If you can adjust it, that’s where you will find the controls.

How do i get the steering wheel radio button to jump between the programmed stations and not just go one station at a time?

Thanks for the question. Press and hold the ok button on the steering wheel for 4 seconds and the service menu will pop up. Scroll up or down to reset oil service and press the ok button. Thanks for watching!

How do you get the music graphic to save as a default between shutdowns? I am having to change that each time I restart the vehicle. @3:50
Thanks for the compliment! We’re glad you found it helpful! When you say Graphic, are you just referring to the square with the double eighth notes in it? If so that’s the default graphic and should appear every time your selecting a radio station. One suggestion would be to reset the defaults via the infotainment system to see if that corrects it, or see if there is an update you can download. Hope that’s helpful and thanks for watching!
Sorry for the late reply. No I am not referring to the square with double eight notes, but rather the Trip Graphic. Upon start up it shows Trip with the mileage and then Reset Trip: Please press and hold ok. I would rather it ‘save’ my preference and keep on the music graphic, but each time I have to use the select tool and move over three times to get to the music graphic again. Any idea how to save this as the default?

How can I access the menu while my car is running cause it won’t let me is there a way to take it off 🙂
Thanks for the question. Certain menu items are blocked or inaccessible while the car is moving. Everything should be accessible if the vehicle is running and it’s in Park. If you are in Park, with engine running, and certain menu items won’t work I’d recommend having the system rebooted. Thanks for watching!

Does navigation come standard on the sel?
Thanks for the question. It does not come standard with navigation-I think-vw’s website does not list it as standard equipment but also does not list it as an option. There you go, clear as mud! My best guess is that it is included but VW website is not helpful in this regard. Thanks for watching!
Apple car play sucks to many issues . It’s redundant if you have Bluetooth and built in features from the stock radio
I like CarPlay and use it all the time. Its great if you use Google, Apple Maps, Waze etc for navigation when your car isn't equipped with Nav from the factory. Plus you can use the voice commands and Siri to change apps and programs
I had a 2012 car with built in nav and it sucked because the maps stopped updating and the system was slow as can be and a pain to enter addresses. Android Auto for me, or car play, sort of future proofs your system, at least longer than built in. I Can assure that google and apple keep their UIs updated more so than these car manufacturers do. Seeing your map on the screen vs your phone is nice as well. I dont want to buy a car without android auto built in.
Can you just show me how to see the odometer
In your infotainment screen there’s is a picture of a car , click on it Then flick through the choices on your left until you come to Distance. That should show you the odometer. Thanks for watching
