Excuse me? Wode Maya is not Nigerian. Southerners have good reasons to see problems in Nigeria's north. The Northerners are the ones who hate and kill southerners for no reason or because of different religion. Another thing is that northerners are pretenders. Wode Maya is well received because he's a foreigner. If it was a southerner, he'd probably be harrassed or Halima might not even volunteer take him around.
And what opportunities do you even mean? Southerners are financially better off than the northerners are. There are more millionaires in number from the south than the north.

Was rather, copied from them. Wearing of long robes, gowns, covering of the body, and hair wrapping, by men and women has nothing to do with external influence's such as religion. They are all, part of various African cultures. Ancient, Africans had a way of identification, and differentiation. And they used, their cultural ways to do that. The way the women dressed in the video is a Northern Hausa way of dressing. I mean Hausa's. Many tribes, who are now in the North had their own various ancient traditions or cultures. You can say that Islam urges women to cover their body and hair. But, Islam didn't teach Hausa's to do that. Islam, didn't teach many other African cultures to do that. Because, we have verse cultures in Africa. So, there are those whose cultures is not about covering of the body. And there are those whose cultures, dresses to cover up completely. Ancient Africans, had varieties of traditional ways. Other race of people, copied from them. Not, the other way round.

@@abidavid5021 Did u watch the video at all... Does Kano city look like a place where there is no electricity. Just continue with your job of washing toilets in Europe instead of always channeling your energy to spoil the image of Nigeria.

Two things I've loved about northerners is that they know the secrets of business, and they're not loud; that is to say, they don't claim to know it all.........If you've ever been to Kano, you know what I'm saying; if you're planning on going there, I promise you, they're gonna blow your mind...... just be ready to learn from anybody on the streets.

I was also a student back in the days at BUK before relocating back to the South in the 90's due to religious riot. Kano has a long history of trade, immigration, and diversity and continues to host a range of ethnic, religious, and other social groups. While there, I did enjoyed schooling and really making money even as a student but left due to threats here & there as foreign entrepreneur with 15 Water Pushing trucks ,15 Okadas, 7 hiace buses, a games village, Adult school, Barbing salon etc. Seeing this video indeed brought back memories and indeed I can confirm that even if you sell 'Goro/Kolanut' you can become a millionaire there in Kano State.
