You know the best way to strip down an ibanez? Even if I use a heatgun they still seem to have that grain sealer underneath , will the primer be efficient enough upon repaint?

I'm not sure on that one. The grain sealer should stay in the wood though

I find that Strats are too rounded/contoured and actually prefer Telecaster bodies. On my human body, under my arm, they just feel more stable where too many contours and roundness make the guitar dissappear in feel. I have a newer Charvel Tele which is pretty cool, but it's super contoured and the guitar kinda almost vanishes! It's like infant tell where it is all the time and it can mess up my playing.
I suppose I'm just used to sandwiching a certain shape in my player's embrace. 😂
What about the weight of these bodies?
If both are made of the same basic wood but wiegh differently, perhaps that affects the resonance and sustain or whatever in different ways..
Kiesel is now roasting guitar bodies... I'm not sure that's already a thing elsewhere or not, but I don't see many others making that a feature... Presumably the less moisture content, the more sustain... CAN YOU HEAR THAT SUSTAIN? 😂

The charvel is basswood and the strat should be poplar, I think the strat feels slightly heavier but not much
