Hi, the easiest way is to turn your work to the wrong side and carefully snip the yarn you used for sewing your applique. Usually, it's a different color than the main piece, so it's easier to see...

6:14 What is this cut? The video shows you telling how to go into the second chain from the hook with only one loop on your hook, then cuts to three loops on the hook with no instruction on how you got there. Can you please clarify?
Hi, you're right, that's kind of a bad cut, I think I was messing up with the ply of the yarn and I cut it, but it's easier than it seems. I think I say it in the video... you just yo, go into the second ch from the hook, yo, and pull up a loop, and there you have 3 loops on your hook. It's basically a double crochet but in the next step, you don't complete the st, you only yo, and pull through the first 2 loops on your hook.
