Honestly, I think this is the perfect tutorial. You really need to have an understanding of basic crotchet but besides that it’s easy to follow. You don’t start making these before mastering your single, double, and half stitches.
Finally, a tutorial that doesn’t stop to teach a magic ring! 😂 all the other tutorials are way too slow, this is perfect for people who already crochet. Thanks! 🙏
THANK you for this! Very easy, simple, and straight to the point tutorial - well done! I'm making my newborn daughter and 5 year old daughter matching strawberry cardigans and this is THE perfect strawberry applique! I cannot stand that thick, puff stitch strawberry pattern that I keep finding everywhere. lol
Those sound adorable I hope they turned out ❤❤
Great tutorial 😊 Easy to understand and straught to the point. Thanks!
Lovely strawberry pattern! 🍓 Thanks for sharing this cute crochet design. 😊🧶
Best strawberry pattern I’ve seen so far. So easy, so basic and the result is lovely. Well done!

Super cute, thank you for sharing this cute and free tutorial!! I had no difficulties understanding your instruction.
YAYYY!! EXCELLENT tutorial! Needed simple instructions to just make a couple strawberries, this was perfect! Thank you so much :)
Thank you for this tutorial! I loved how easy it was to follow, and how you just got right to the point of making it instead of fluffing out how to start every stitch or making a magic ring. Definitely gonna follow 💗 you’ve helped me finish my Christmas gifts this year 😌
Loved this. Thank you
Just made this. Thank you for the tutorial. It was clear and easy to follow!
Such a great tutorial! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for sharing!!!! The blog is really helpful too! I learned easily from your video. Nevermind the nrgative comments, you're a good teacher. Thank you for sharing your talent, i really appreciate you!!

Awesome! Looking forward to seeing them 🍓🍓🍓
This is your cute!! Super simple, also before you added the leaves it looked like a heart so I made some heart earrings with this!
so easy!! thanks ❤❤❤
I love this strawberry and I like that you are a bit faster with your instructions as I am a seasoned crocheter and using thread
Thanks for the tutorial, it was very easy 🙏🏻❤️❤️
Perfect tutorial and speed 🍓
I never actually knew it was just a heart shape and leaves, thank you for this tutorial. I'm glad it was much simpler than expected 🙃
So nice!

Thank you so much I was losing hope but then found this
Thank you! I want to make these appliques and sew them onto a pair of overalls I own. These are perfect. Keep up the good work! ❤

So cute I loved it ❤

I was trying to make this off a written pattern and got stuck on the stem. Thank you for clearly showing the pattern. Really appreciate your time to share the video! ❤

Thank you 🤗💕
you are awesome💫❤️
Thank you so much :)
Sou do Brasil, a legenda me ajudou❤
ANG HIRAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPP
Love this pattern very easy to understand and easy to make.
It looks like a heart
if i were to make an even larger strawberry, is this possible? i want to make some to add some to a bag, but want one larger one to act as a pocket for the bag
For making pockets, you might have to adapt the pattern quite a bit. Maybe the easiest way would be to use a completely different pattern, let's say a heart of the size you need, and then add the seeds and the leaves to turn it into a strawberry 🍓 I hope this makes sense :) let me know if you have any questions
THANK UU
You're welcome 💕
how to crochet the smaller one
Beautiful design. I like how mine turned out. The verbal instructions don’t match the pattern. If you follow what she says verbatim you will always end up short on the second round on the way back round up to the top of the strawberry.
Yes, I had this problem. How did you solve it ?
How to make big one strawberry coaster
Hello. For the small strawberry should i just use thinner yarn or is there a written pattern for the small ones as well?
Hi, sure, the small strawberry is just the same but I used Sport-weight cotton and a 3 mm hook. You can find the written pattern here raffamusadesigns.com/free-crochet-pattern-strawberry-applique/
If you want to make them bigger like for a coaster how would you increase it
Hi, you would have to make a completely different pattern, so I'm sorry but I cannot help you in a comment :)
Hiya do you allow people to sell items they make with this pattern please?
Hi, sure, feel free to sell anything you crochet using my patterns :)
@@RaffamusaDesigns aww thank you so much
how can I make a smaller ones, I'm so confuse on how to?? plsss
Hi, to make smaller strawberries you have two options:
1) use finer yarn and a smaller hook (you can even use thread for tiny strawberries)
2) change the pattern almost entirely...
I'd say that option number 1 would be the easiest one if it works for you :)
@RaffamusaDesigns - Crochet Patterns and Tutorials
I want to like make the pattern smaller like change the number of chains the number of stitches ,etc. if that's even possible. But I don't know how to..
it's okay tho, I already make one from ur video that I attached to my facemask Thank u for replying^_________^
I just want the size and pattern of the strawberry under the pink one you have (the red🍓 one with the smaller size:)
@@ximang4371 the red strawberry is made with the same exact pattern as the pink one but with sport weight yarn and a 3.0 mm hook (instead of Aran weight yarn and 4.5 mm hook, which I used for the pink strawberry)
thank u sm💓💓💓💓
I kept getting confused and frustrated trying to do the websites pattern , because it didn’t come out right …turns out that the pattern on website had sts instead of st on the first dc4 on round 2 so it was ” [dc 4] in next sts “ instead it should have been “[dc 4] in next st” 🤦♀️ very cute pattern overall
Oh, sorry about that, I'll double check the written pattern on the website

Hiya, do you allow people to sell their finished strawberries please?
Hi, sure, that's definitely allowed :)
How do I make a smaller one?
Hi, I'm sorry, I don't have a pattern for a smaller strawberry. You could try to make one yourself by playing around with the stitches of the first round :)
miss maam im still confused why u have more stitches than mine even tho i have exactly 12 dc and follow the video
Hi, I really wouldn't know without seeing your work, sorry... But maybe you can take a look at the written pattern + photo tutorial and see if you can spot the problem 😀 raffamusadesigns.com/free-crochet-pattern-strawberry-applique/
Otherwise, feel free to send me a pic of your strawberry via email and I'll see how I can help :)
can someone make a writing pattern of this 😢
Hi, there is a written pattern already. There's the link in the description or here... raffamusadesigns.com/free-crochet-pattern-strawberry-applique/
How is this helping?
I don't know... What do you need help with?
Makes sense at the beginning and then it’s like warp speed 🤦🏻♀️😂
Hi, since this is a supporting video for a written pattern, it might help to have the pattern at hand... You can find it here: raffamusadesigns.com/free-crochet-pattern-strawberry-applique/
Why did u move so quickly at the beginning😐😐
Sorry, maybe you could slow down the video to 0.75 or 0.50... :)
@@RaffamusaDesigns thank you
Why is my strawberry turning into strawberry bowl🥲😭
try loosening you tension on the yarn 🙂
It's really confusing. I had to pit it on slow to see what ur were doing & ur going to fast to show anyone how to do it
Sorry, I'll crochet slower in the next videos :)
☺ur fine. I have learned from this video. I'm still new at this so I do get confused. But it was fine when I put the video on slow for me to see the steps.
@@RaffamusaDesigns ok if u are then where is the video
U guys are so rude, someone who is trying to teach u guys, y’all r mad rude I feel bad.
this was so confusing.. way too fast
Oh sorry about that. I believe you can slow the video down by tapping on the setting icon at the top-right corner of the video, then "playback speed", and you can select 0.75 or 0.5
Otherwise, you could always read the pattern + photo tutorial on my blog at this link: raffamusadesigns.com/free-crochet-pattern-strawberry-applique/
I hope this helps :)
Not really, if you paid attention to the pattern before they sped it up then it wouldn't be confusing
@@Elliesmellieatesomejellieno it's still confusing. She wasn't clear about where the stitches go.
@@minnie1379 oh okay sorry I recognized how to do this
@@minnie1379she actually did state where each stitch goes. However, I think it would be hard for a beginner to follow this tutorial. But it is a well-communicated tutorial if you’re a practiced crocheter.
Even with slowing down the video the tutorial gets messy towards the end of the strawberry. Annoying.
I got lost at the leaves but I still appreciate it
Oh, sorry about that. Maybe I shouldn't say it, but you can always sort of wing the leaves. I mean, make picot stitches attached to the top sts of the strawberry and you're done :)
