Watching these tutorials with 20 AA and 8 transmission really puts into perspective how much better pro hardware is to my cheap gaming PC :/ I don’t think I’ve ever put AA above 8 lol
I was missing the "Opaque" flag for the Shape Nodes, but reading the Docs: "As of Arnold 5.3, this flag is set automatically by changing the opacity or transmission on a material." So learn always new stuff with every Tutorial on this Chanel! Thanks!
I am Rendering a Glass in 3ds max where a Character i running out of a room. Room has big glass window. How can i Give. Glass shader which can show properly inside video. As the glass roughness is not making it clear for looking inside. & specular also creating with HDRI
@@jsico-c1t every glass generates sharp caustics (from light source) along with soft caustics (from IBL/GI). At this point Arnold can only produce soft caustics, which is no sufficient for realistic glass rendering.

In my opinion, no other render engine handles transparency better than arnold

Maybe I'm a bit late, but having the Specular Roughness to 0 and the IOR to 1 should make things perfectly clear
To render glass one need a proper caustic, which Arnold doesn't have
