For those that don’t know: In the game’s actual lore, Vyke was a tarnished who was the closest to becoming elden lord before we (the player) came along. Thats one of the reasons why he’s on the cover art of the game. He didn’t make it because he lost himself to the frenzied flame in hopes to save his maiden.
Just to clarify, Vyke is the most KNOWN to be the closest to being Elden Lord, he never made it to Faram. The one that actually was the closest was Bernahl, not only did he able to get to Forge of the giants. He also has full access to Faram Azula which only a few people had.

It's amazing how much better the fights go when Vyke uses attacks that don't take so long to land that you start them and have to entrust to the next generation to finish.
Because Vyke fights like a player and and Morgott/Margit is specialized to be annoying to players but it means he can’t do shit against anything that diverges from that.
Him outperforming every other boss besides malenia, godfrey and placi is insanity. If only he didn’t have awful damage and the longest phase transition in the game.
Idk about you guys but it really looked clean when he thrusted the spear upwards right as Malenia started floating. A perfect pause makes it look awesome
Honestly expected Vyke to get slaughtered on the God Skin fight due to the chapter shortness... I was wrong. But damn he did a terrible job on Morgott.

I'm curious how did you trigger the awakened state of the spear, is it just a different version in game that replaces it for Rickard or a coding line that was applied to each boss to give them the 'serpent' classification?
@@theaveragegamer7221 by that logic this mod means that there would be a permanent spawned serpent, if your just referring to the base game I know how the weapon works there's been a version of it in most of the souls games.

Tbf, the weapon art does even more damage if both the weapon and the skill hit. The storm part and weapon itself have their own hitboxes.

It only works when fighting the serpent boss. Outside of it it "looses its power"
