At the heart of the world's best attack, sits an unsung catalyst who just might be redefining the 9 position for non-Dupont mortals. So, following his exceptional hattrick against Leicester Tigers at the weekend, how good is Jamison Gibson-Park, and just how important is he for Leinster & Ireland?

What's mad is how well Leinster/Ireland transform their players. Yes granted many of them are obviously naturally talented but they go to the next level after playing a few years even the imported players such as Lowe and Gibson-Park.I think you could argue Sexton would never have lasted as long if he didn't go back to Leinster at age 30. Such a shame that English sides don't look after their own talent as much.

With the exception of Nash and Balacoune, neither of whom I'd rate as highly as Lowe, Ireland have had a hard time producing wingers of our own. There's plenty of promising young players coming through but no wingers jump out to me. Lots of quality centres who can fill in while waiting for the next one to come through

@@MMako13 And it was him that brought the french 7's side their first victory in 19 years. He is the best, simple. World cups don't equal the best players, and Dupont would waltz into any team in the world. Smith would be benched in a heartbeat.

He's bang average on his best day. Couldn't hold Dupont's jock -- or even gaze upon it. He benefits most from POC coaching the forwards -- and JGP makes loads of basic unforced errors. Not as terrible a player as Lowe -- but will never be "great" in any sense. A placeholder at best
