Such a wonderful event, I'm so glad you took us along for what you could! I loved seeing the booksellers recs, that is like gold
Yes, everyone loves that part of the weekend!
This looks like such a fun event! I'm glad you had a good time 😊
It's a blast! A book-lover's paradise :) And so many wonderful people. I look forward to it every year!
I've been waiting for this video! If I lived closer than 3000 miles away, I would totally go to Booktopia!
Because of its history & how there used to be several a year, people do travel a long way for it! But I hear you - OR is a very long trip from VT.
Thanks for this recap. It looks so fun. Hopefully I can go someday.
I hope you can, too, Karen!! It's such a unique, incredible weekend for book lovers :) And I'd love to meet you in person!
Loved seeing familiar places and a few faces!
We missed you and Emily this year, Chris! Not too many photos of participants - I was having too much fun & kept forgetting!
I don't remember downtown much, but I remember Hildene and Inn at Ormsby Hill. I think there was an antique shop and I bought a few books. =) But I don't remember a new book store being in town. Glad to hear you and your mom had a good time. those hole in the wall restaurants are the best.
Northshire Bookstore opened in 1976. It's recently undergone a few changes in ownership, but the new owners - 3 sister - are wonderful! It's a really cool bookstore, covering 3 floors!
