The Jerry can on the gun mount is probably for water, since you typically wipe the barrel down with water to help cool but more importantly make sure no embers are in there to set off the new explosives as you add them to the chamber.
@@Knotlamar.vr6 The number of handles doesn't indicate what's in a jerry can. Most jerry cans, especially from the WW2 era, have 3 handles. The middle handle is for carrying it in 1 hand if there's little enough in it to lift with 1 hand, and the outer 2 handles make it easier to two-hand a full can or for two people to carry it together.

@@skyraider87 one issue there is that most mortar carriers are of the 81mm variety, and aiming is going to be ass (you know gaijin will try to add a system and bungle it) first they should add the rest of the SPHs that are valid for the game (big HE power or has HEAT/AP/HESH, carries it's own ammo and crew)

since you said the ratel 90 wasn't bad, you should play the objectively awful ratel version; the ratel 20. it has the same bad mobility as the 90, but with the same weapons as the marder IFV, which doesn't sound bad at first, until you realise you're expected to fight king tigers and jumbo pershings with 7 slow moving ATGMs and an autocannon that can't even pen a panther's side (day 28)
The Ratel 20 is fun because you can pretty much spam MILANs at anything with armour and always win. Playing against Germany (Jadgtigers, Tiger 2s and elefants) almost feels like cheating. It's really not *that* bad.

I lost counts of how many times i requested for Spookston to play the french 6.7 menace known as the AMX M4 and obliterate nonfrench tanks (bonus fun when destroying the new tiger h1 bundle) with its autoloading 90mm
Try the Fiat/Ansaldo M11/39. It has everything low tier Italy has to offer. Bad armor, bad speed. The 37mm gun has APHE, but its casemated. Best of luck. (attempt 63)
@@christianhaegler4817 It's only bad in terms of penetration and muzzle velocity. Damage is very good. Penetration is similiar to most 20mm AP shells but the damage is much better.

Dear Spookston, the T14 is still at 4.7 but now this is at 4.0 and has 61mm of penetration for its HE shell. But do you know what only has 50mm of front armour? That’s right! The T14!

6:23 i’ve been playing the M44 at 6.7 and its actually pretty funny how easy it is to get 6-7 kills per game with it. Also it has the same shell as the M109
I've read a bit about something called "traveling charge", might make for an interesting video. There are a few ways to do this, but the basic principle is that the propellant travels with the projectile through the barrel while burning from the back. This can allow higher velocity and efficiency, as a basic problem of internal ballistics is that the pressure acting on a projectile lowers as it progresses through the barrel.

Hi Spookston. I lost my father this morning to a heart attack related to Kidney disease. I just wanted to say thank you for the entertaining content during the past couple years during this trying time in my life. It felt nice to be able to relate to someone on a personal level with health struggles and the kidney transplant process. It gave me hope and for that I felt I should express my gratitude. I should also remind everyone that the whole family struggles along with those that are in or have been in health struggles like these. Whether that be cancer, Renal failure, etc. Love them in the present moment because you’ll regret it if the worst case scenario becomes reality.

M44 is when Archer done right, aka Driver facing the same direction as the gun and forward is... well forward and not backward, hell it wasn't even a tank destroyer. Also in 5:10 you can see that the M44 back clips through the fences because Gaijin somehow fucked up the collision of M44 and somehow it is missing for the 'rear' half of it.
The Jerry can on the gun mount is just full of soapy water to wash out whats left of the loaders after slamming the breach into them every time you fire. 5:01

I'm glad the Sturer Emil got moved down again. It's one of my favorite war vehicles in the entire world, but it's also becoming more and more obsolete as more vehicles are added such as the M44. It's funny, because my friend and I like to discuss potential future patch vehicles, and we talked about the M44 three weeks before the patch was leaked.
Day 55 of telling spookston to play the IT1. its a ATGM launcher on the t62 chassis, it has decent-ish mobility, the turret is squished. You can hide behind cover and shoot ATGM over the cover like a gremlin and you overpressure tanks (tho it can be rare, but it does happen without you realizing) and its MG is really werid. Also it has a cool reload animation.
I genuinely might grind USA again because of this vehicle, I stopped at 3.0 when I got my first Sherman but this is giving me the motivation that I needed to continue this game
