Thanks for this share. I can see adding touches of glitter or beads and maybe using in a card so the dog lover who gets the card can use it as a dog tag too. A way to remember getting the home made card not just throwing it away after a few weeks. And a gift not just a card too. Luv it.
❤I’m hooked on this method! I see so many shapes that could be used in addition to the ones you have demonstrated-dogs, birds, trees. Other ideas include Christmas and other traditional shapes; school” shapes like pencils, desks, apples, books; farm animals; tools; fruit; cookie cutter shapes; sea animals; sports balls and equipment; children’s toys; etc. I grew up in the 40s when “paper dolls” were popular. This method would make great paper dolls-not with random strips of various designs and colors, but the basic doll shape made with different colors of the thick felt to represent various skin colors, then solids and prints for clothing. These paper dolls would last much longer than my thin paper ones. Or make one to represent each family member. What cute tree ornaments they would be. Bo-tique, you inspire me to be very creative and take your methods and try new things. I value all your ideas and appreciate the time and effort it takes to make these videos! ❤😊
Also known as collage quilting. I have sold some lovely wall hanging using this similar method. Use freezer paper for tracing then iron on and cut around. You can buy special scissors for cutting shapes accurately. Thanks for the video!❤
Hello Bo🤗! Wow! This tutorial was exceptional 🙌🏻👏🏻🙌🏻💕!! It is so easy to understand & follow!! I will now buy a Free Motion attachment for my sewing machine👍🏻👍🏻💕👏🏻🙌🏻!! Thank you for sharing your ideas & more importantly your awesome techniques & examples!!
So cute! They all look like they are wearing loud shirts/hawaiian shirts, especially the flowery blue and red one. My friend's dogs have matching hawaiian shirts in those colours too :)
Super cute! I have two questions, I don’t have an embroidery machine, do you think this would work with just a sewing machine? Also what doggos do you have included in the pattern? Thanks!
You don't need an embroidery machine. It is done on a normal sewing machine. You just need to be able to lower the feed dogs and put on a free motion foot.
Can you show the outer packaging of the bondaweb for identification and tell us where to purchase? I can't find any that looks like the one you use. Thanks.😊
No entiendo bien la tela la acomodo en el plástico transparente y luego paso la planchada ayudándome con papel encerado,o es Enel plástico blanco donde estaba el plástico transparente??gracias por compartir
Craft stores sales squares and bigger rectangles that have a firmer backing on them. I just bought some yesterday at Hobby Lobby . Most craft stores sell it.
As much as I try, this doesn't work for me! As soon as I peel off the back paper, everything falls apart and I have all the single scraps. I've spent so much time now trying, ironing, trying to put the single pieces together, I give it up. I would be interested, if anybody did it with more success and what might be the secret. (For bonding I use the original Heat 'n Bond Ultra Hold.) Edit: I tried it again using Bondaweb instead of Heat'n Bond and it worked much better!
Great idea to make for animal rescue groups for fundraising

Adorable! As a dog lover I see these being a unique and cute way to tag luggage or create hair accessories for children and lapel pins or hats
I totally agree!!
Cutest idea. Fun way to use small scraps
Thanks so much!
They are lovely. You could print the dogs onto bondaweb before ironing
Yes I just figured it out!! Thank you! ❤️

You could sew them into greetings cards or cut double, stitch together, stuff and use as pocket pets.
Me encanta la idea de hacer cosillas de scrapbook con ellos ❤❤❤❤

Beautiful, thank you for sharing. One small idea, you could use a projector for your shapes and save time and paper.
Thanks for the tip! I'll have a research about projector🥰🥰
You could even use a 1970s device called an etch o sketch to make bigger out keep the same size.
So cute!! ❤❤❤

Amei o trabalho.
What was your exact sewing machine
It's a janome atelier 7
Can you show the outer packaging of the bondaweb for identification and tell us where to purchase? I can't find any that looks like the one you use. Thanks.😊
Hi I'm using no-brand one from local shop. You can try any brand as long as it's double adhesive iron on paper.
So much cutting!
I know! 😅😅
Is there a place ti get the pattern,. Is there a pattern for the bird!
Yes lazydoll.etsy.com/uk/listing/1572538917/pdf-pattern-fabric-scraps-bird-pattern
Super cute!
Hi, can you tell us the thickness is your felt Bo? I don't want to strain my machine! lol
Hi, my felt is 2mm Or 3mm thick. For charms I use two layers of 3mm felt. 🥰
What kind of felt are you using for the base?
I use thick firm white felt. ❤️
Her most trabajo!!.Alguien sabe cómo se llama el papel que usa debajo?,muchas gracias. ❤💕
It's bondaweb or heat and bond 🥰
Thank you very much ❤❤❤
after you make them .. how can you use them ??? can you give us options ??
bookband and decoration charm in the video 😊
No entiendo bien la tela la acomodo en el plástico transparente y luego paso la planchada ayudándome con papel encerado,o es Enel plástico blanco donde estaba el plástico transparente??gracias por compartir
This is adhesive iron on double side paper. You can find bondaweb, heat and bond lite or other brands online.
Hi Bo, please could you say where you purchased your white felt from as I’ve never seen it that substantial before. I’m in the U.K. thank you❤
Hi, Please try to use thick, firm, stiff Three key words. I bought it from a factory which may not suit a small amount of purchase.
Try fabric stores. I have bought felt by the meter at our fabric store in Calgary
Craft stores sales squares and bigger rectangles that have a firmer backing on them. I just bought some yesterday at Hobby Lobby . Most craft stores sell it.

I'm so glad you figure it out at last! Heat and bond Lite is more like bondaweb. ❤️❤️
I think if you have smaller scissors you could cut them easier.
