There's a place where lovers go, to cry their troubles away, and they call it Lonesome Town, where the broken hearts stay. You can buy a dream or two, to last you all through the years, and the only price you pay, is a heart full of tears. Going down to Lonesome Town, where the broken hearts stay, going down to Lonesome Town, to cry my troubles away.
In the town of broken dreams, the streets are filled with regret, maybe down in Lonesome Town, we can learn to forget. Lay me down in Lonesome Town, we can learn to forget.
First saw Rowland 36 yrs ago tearing it up (as only he could) at the Hacienda with the Birthday Party. The twang, the squalls of feedback, the absolute rock'n'roll of every note he played is something to be treasured. This is truly a magnificent recording and as others have said; deserves a genuine release. Fantastic. Thank you for uploading.
Incredible. One of the most beautiful and inspiring creatures to ever grace this shitty planet with his presence. I hope you're soaring through outer space right now Rolly xxxx
Rowland S Howard will awlways have all my tears

Finding this so many years later, after never having heard this version by RSH, has made my day.
