Goosky already has redesigned it. Guy's are waiting for the new design to be released. And for people that already bought the older version, well they make a kit to change it over. And it's not free you got to buy it. OMP M4 is coming fast. Suppose to be forsale in April. I just pre-order it. Once the new RS4 is release I'll get that to.

Thanks for the review. Been looking at these. Need a video of you flying it. I looked and didn’t see one. I have it’s baby cousin. OMP M1. I would say that anyone can fly with the right radio setup and learning approach. Lower rates, expo and lower the head speed. I followed the John Salt approach to learning. Helped a lot. Try radio setup to tame it and give it a shot. I will enjoy your other videos in the mean time. Thanks again!

The 450 has built in GPS so that you can release the joysticks and also do a return to home. The RS4 has no GPS as it falls in the Pro 3D category.

To me and I am not a big-time RCer flying an RC helicopter in ways a real helicopter can not fly (flips and shit) is just plain stupid and proves nothing. Great video and great flying Jack.
is there a way to make motor to have "soft start" ?
I have RS4 with Goosky flight controller that came with the combo kit. and the throttle is set to the lowest value, nothing high head speed.
when the motor starts, it rotate the whole fuselage counter clockwise more than 90 degrees.
or perhaps it's caused by unbalanced rotor blades? but these are stock blades from the combo kit also.
I don't believe you can smooth start the brushless motor, it pretty much just engages and spins up, and the torque causes your issue. The only thing I can think of would be to perhaps lower the headspeed in ARM mode so that it spins up to a max slow speed, and then whatever that headspeed was, assign it to headspeed 1 so that after the blades spin and your ready to fly, flip it into headspeed one and it will spin up to the normal takeoff headspeed.
Looks like it requires side mounting servos, is that correct?
Can’t say as I no longer have this model. On my channel I buy and sell items as I have no storage space.

You need to do like everyone else and that is get a helicopter simulator (like the ones on the STEAM website) then get yourself a RADIO (that you will use in the hobby, like a RADIOMASTER POCKET or ZORRO or BOXER or TX16S), then practice flying on the simulator using that radio.

I just had my first flight with the goosky s2 in auto mode. I noticed it drifting to the right. Do you know what this is due to, I have never flown with it, this is the first time.
Drifting? This heli is much too large to fly indoors, and when you fly it outdoors it has no gps or optical flow to hold it still. In other words it is up to you to hold it still and if you take your hands off your joysticks it will crash. So I’m kinda confused that you mention drifting.

The FW450 V3 is designed with GPS for beginner stability and return to home which means they had to design it more for beginners. This one is designed for Pros.

Too many design flaws & compromises, ontop of that only after buying it 2 months ago I'm already left with an old heli with sub optimal geometry and 0 servo compatibility with other brands. The M4 looks like the demise of this heli when it comes out.

Is this another stupid overpriced toy we can't afford?? Probably. I ordered the RuKo pro 4 k s and it won't let me link to the app unless I give them my bank stats ( which they say they won't charge anything to it. So why do they want it) so I can't fly it without all the perks which are obviously in the software of the app. What a rip off. Dandahermit grrr
In the RC hobby for the most part you get what you pay for, as you are experiencing first hand.
You are missing something in the App. You do not need to provide banking info, there must be an option to bypass.
