@CAPTAINDRONE798 grooming it is everything. I kept like a constant stubble but it's consistent. I've tried to grow a real beard and it's doesn't turn out well.
I began with DRONES, then added CARS/TRUCKS/BOATS, then after I mastered those I added HELICOPTERS and finally PLANES. I would not be surprised that after you enjoy the Helicopter you will soon add something else. The hobby is addictive.
Well done Captain (and Jacques!) great looking / flying RC however............the "Name" !!!! "GOO" (Sky) ; sounds like you should get a complimentary tube of adhesive !!!!!
What a name?! The goofly😅😂 thats hilarious. He sent the goo flying.😅😂 But wow what a cool looking set-up. I love that massive main rotor motor. For such a small heli that thing could do some damage and at fullspeed full send, that thing must be lightning fast!! Ahh Jacques agreed with me. I am writing this as im watching.lol Really cool bird. Im just afraid to check the price. Thanks Steve another great review.
I thought about getting a stunt chopper, but I built a grandfather clock instead, then I thought about the chopper again but bought the DJI FPV after seeing your videos, and love it.
Fun video ! 😃 I can’t help but remember some of the guys in our old R.C. Club trying to learn how to fly nitro powered helicopters 45 years ago. They literally attached a leash to the copter that would only let it rise 3 or so feet so they could learn how to hover without a crash or fly away.🤣 Anyway, Great review Cap !!
@Bittoo_king I can tell you it is a lot of work (often it can be more hard work days then fun days). Start small like I did and everything grows automatically.
Probably but I’ve never bothered to try it. My suggestion would be to bind it turn your RC radio that you’re used to. If your radio runs on OPEN TX then there should be plenty of UA-cam videos showing how to set up a helicopter model in any number of popular OPEN TX radios on the market, like RadioMaster or Jumper for example.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I've got a RM TX16S but was still going to get the Goosky TX for an all in one easy carry package, I guess I'll find out 😊 thanks mate 👍🏻
Impressive little heli, and also, excellent video production, thank you for your time and dedication to deliver 💯 quality content. My only constructive feedback is to please state the purchase price at time of video. Banggood are famous for raising the price within days of release, reviews etc.
Thank you for the kind comments. Please note that you won’t find very many international UA-cam channels that will say the price. This is because over 100 countries see these videos and the price makes no sense to them because if you don’t live in the USA and you then go to the website and look at the price… It will be different than what was said (prices are different for many countries). In addition, there are unfortunately plenty of slightly less intelligent people that just LOVE TO POINT OUT that a video is fake or false because the price said in the video is incorrect from what they discovered when they looked. So as you can see, many UA-camrs outside the USA no longer say the price in the video… unless of course the item is super inexpensive (way under $100 US).
Thank you for the video! With T8 Tx, how do you know when to land to not over-discharge the heli's li-po? Is there some kind of audible alarm triggered by a built-in timer which can be adjusted on the app? I don't think there is telemetry, right?
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 My son e88s drone came today as well which you reviewed,he will be very happy when he gets home from school! I've just started the S1 on begin mode it's quite a little beast, the weather here in the UK today is awful so no flights today sadly,I don't trust my self to fly it in the house lol. Thanks again 👍
Love your video work. Just got this model in about 1hr. Ago and was looking for first flight footage when I ran across your video... did like and have subscribed. Thanks 😊.
Hmmmmm..............interesting comment from your friend about not much banking in stability mode. I'm a sports flier only (6G) and mine gives more than enough banking angle in stability mode when in high rates!
Unfortunately in 6G stability no heli on the market will give the same banking as in Acro/Manual/3D mode (the stability mode stops such from occurring).
Question 🙋🏽♂️ Is there a way to get the 6g stabilizer system on a bigger 400-550 size heli? Or is there more helicopters out there with similar systems but same quality as these Gooskys?? Thanks in advance
Good that Heli,s are getting easier to fly after all we do,nt want to crash them I have the YU XIANG F09-S scale helicopter its expensive but thanks to GPS flies great love your video,s and all the information you have mostly I fly r/c aircraft but now+then I will try helicopters with the old-school flying everything was damaged GPS is the way to go .I also think that if manufactures make bigger GPS helicopters they would "fly" off the shelves .
Hey was it out of the box binded with the transmitter? I got mine today in rtf version too and it was not bind. I am wondering if its really flying good out of the box... i have'nt tryed cause the weather is not that good and maybe I will get it on my table first to check all parameters like pitch and everything..hope everything is setted up fine to get up in the air as fast as the weather allows it.
Fair point and good advice. As an owner of a Blade 230S V2 and a Trex 130X I'm currently in the market to replace on or the other. I'm looking at both OMP and GooSky with their comparable offerings. GooSky is edging out the OMP M1 and M2s so now it comes down to size. The S1 field needs are smaller but the S2 is more capable.... decisions, decisions. Thanks for your comment 👍
Besides being 3 years newer, what are the differences between this and my two OMP Hobby helicopters? My large one is broken at the moment but I think the small one is rtf. I have not touched them since we bought the small farm we now live on two years ago but I have finally gotten life settled down some and am pulling my old RC stuff out of the cobwebs at last.
I have all the OMP helis and they are certainly good. Goo-sky is the competition to OMP and their goal is to always outdo OMP. When you fly this one you’ll immediately notice the difference.
Hey captain drone, I have an interesting question. I am trying to control an S96 drone with my nintendo switch but the Wifi UAV app unfortantley crashes on the system. I did however get one app to work! And that was the KY UAV app. However, the camera feed does not connect :( Do you know of any other apps that would work with the S96 drone? Thanks a bunch - Carl

You start by saying there's nothing else like it on the market... but there's the OMP M1 which this is based off, and they're at similar price points!
As an owner of the OMP M1 and M1 EVO, this heli is more modern & feels way more locked in. The M1 is simply older technolgy.
