@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Yes, it is the standard pack with the drone and 1 battery. Fly More will be $350 with the RC-N3, charger and 3 batteries. But it will be compatible with, at least, the RC-N2 (probably the RC-2 as well), so the standar pack + used RC-N2 would a great deal. And you can still fly the standard pack with the phone and the virtual controls in the DJI Fly app, using regular WIFI. Which is what most of these Aliexpress/Banggood protocol uses. Even if it can do 10KM O4 with the RC-N2/3, I don't think it would be a good idea going that far with a Level 4 wind resistance drone xD I am waiting for your review regarless 👍
It is the same price as a beginner DJI Drone such as the lowest priced DJI MAVIC. I agree it is pricey but they are up to version 4 which tells me they sell in the many thousands of these each year and my guess is most are purchased by first time heli pilots.
It's hard when it comes to pricing. Those safe modes and things to keep it beginner friendly can be pricey. When it comes to advancing you don't think about it breaking. You think about being able to try new things and not break it. Something that I took a long time to learn sadly.
If GPS isn't a deal breaker you can get an altitude hold/ gyro stabilized helicopter for like 40 bucks. It obviously will still drift in the wind but they are generally very easy to fly. Honestly I would think if it's your very first helicopter getting something like that would be a good idea, if for nothing else just to see if it's something you really want to get into before spending 800 dollars, unless of course 800 bucks isn't a big deal for you. This is definitely beginner friendly as far as ease of flying, not necessarily something I would recommend for a beginning unless you are really serious about getting into rc helicopters. If you are serious about it something like this would actually be very good to have because you can eventually turn off the GPS to learn more advanced skills. I do completely agree that 800 dollar beginner rc anything is a tough pill to swallow though.
Depends on your battery. If the battery doesn't last it's not worth the 40 dollars. My biggest issue with cheap helicopters and drones was the batteries they include are trash. I started spending the money and the battery quality went up to where i wasn't just frustrated with money spent.
You must be new to items in the RC hobby that vibrates. Planes, drones, helis that vibrate simply means the blades need to be adjusted. Reviewers don’t bother to fix it during the review because we assume most people know that. However, planes, drones or helis that have a prop or blade vibration have no flight problems since it does not affect flight performance. RC planes and FPV drones with small chips in the prop, all vibrate. On this heli, the new design of the blade connectors need to be adjusted so that the blades are perfectly aligned. The fix is to simply loosen the screws slightly and let the blades self align.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 been doing this a long time, vibration can be caused by several things, blades not balanced, blade tracking and the rotor head, I simply want know what the cause is, other reviewers also talk about the vibration. Not a newbie, 20 years of this stuff

Hello Steve liked your review on the Huey and bought one, got it in the air but getting a serious wabble like the blades are off balance. Steve would you offer any suggestions as to how I may correct this issue? Thanks for your consideration.
Easy Fix. Watch my video that I made of the FPV Huey. When I zoom into the top of the blades, pause the video and see what I’ve done. All you need to do is to first REMOVE the 3D printed short piece that connects to the head & blade. The blade will then be held in place with just one bolt, which is perfect, except the blade does not move freely, so you either have to shave it down slightly so it can move freely or add some 3 in 1 oil to it. The blades should not be so tight that they can’t move, they need to be able to move freely (not loose, but you should be able to move them with minimal effort).
Well got my v4 bench tested it noticed a bit wobble w/ No blades etc. put blades on for test flight and it has so much death wobble wouldn’t even stay planted on spool up. Second attempt it leaned over and blades clipped ground. Now I’m trying to work through the issues. Was a misfit Rc out of box. 🤷🏻♂️
Is there a software fix and settings I should ask? and if so I do I get into the software. Just connect to computer? That would have huge views as there are many out here having the death wobble issue on v4s
I’ll have to make a vid on this topic as there are many people new to the RC Hobby that just don’t now how to fix this simple issue and just end up making it worse
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 with all the latest going into these helis to make newbie friendly gps etc it does make it difficult when something is off in factory settings. Ouch! I know the small scale precludes simulating the sound, but with or without a gun in the door, the Huey has to have 2 blades. 4 blades is like dying Marilyn Monroe into a brunette. It is only a stab in the dark but I would investigate the vibration problem by trying it with 4 blades or replacing the 2 blade head.It obviously flys with only half of the 4 blade head functioning but leaving half the pitch control gear unstressed is an attention getter.
In 3d Does it at least hold altitude for you?? So many questions I haven't been able to get the answers to just by watching videos, I'm really surprised these questions haven't been asked
You can set it up in the new version software. You can choose how many meter high you want gps to take over in 3d mode. (ATTI mode) So if you make a mistake, GPS takes over at the set altitude.
I'm getting the V3 Bell 206 soon, I'm worried about flying in GPS and then it losing GPS so I would rather just start with 3D, I'm a pretty good heli pilot, I'll just take it slow, what can you make trim adjustments or do you need to with the flight controller???
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 no I guess I haven't flown in 3D, I used to fly a helicopter about 20 years ago it had a basic gyro that kept things steady in the tail straight, so basically what I'm getting at is GPS kind of scares me because when it loses GPS it will all of a sudden start flying differently, I don't want it to switch up what I've gotten used to right in the middle of flying it
@@1rcflynThe GPS is extremely modern and the chances of losing a signal in flight are 1 in a million. Even if it did, it would still fly stabilized (6G gyro mode). No need to worry.

Also they now have a four blade version what would be the advantages or disadvantages to four blades over two - thank you
I’m certain you mean something but I honestly don’t know what you mean. In English a Cable is like a long object that attaches at one end and then at the other. Bridges are held up with cables, and cables hold heavy things in the air and other things to other objects.
Definitely not made in the USA 😂. In other words it is made in exactly the same place that the cell phone, tablet or computer you are reading this on was made.
I have V3 and love it, but ...... Flywing should have made that Run/Stop switch protected somehow. With tender hands i hold my transmitter ever knowing one inadvertent touch of that switch and its bye bye chopper. A locking or guarded switch is needed. Flicking it back to Run after accidentally hitting it is not gonna be fast enough. Flywing listen.
As mentioned in the video, you must do like the thousands of other viewers and click on the link that I place in the video description and it will show you the price for your country.
When you switch the control to 3D, no GPS or gyro is in use. Also the receiver inside is your basic FLYSKY receiver, so if you are in the RC Hobby you probably own a 4-in-1 radio and can easily bind to it and use your own radio because the radio that comes with the heli does not have the left joystick dropped.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 oh i know i can disable the GPS stuff.. i mean i dont want the extra cost of it.. the RC ERA C138 206 for example has optical stabilization but at least they allow you to buy a version without it thats cheaper.. i really would like a cheaper version of this helicopter without the GPS stuff.. and yes buying a universal ommni module and using our own radio is also better (and cheaper if they allow the option to buy BNF)
Will you actually learn something flying this? Pretty sure switching to a proper helicopter (without the side wheels) will be quite steep. It looks great.
The RC world has changed in the past 5 years due to DJI making drones for first time pilots with no skills. That same tech is now in helicopters and planes and beginners are loving it.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 It makes flying a scale helicopter like this possible. Can imagine people like it. Have to say I would prefer this over a drone. I only flew helicopters in the simulator. It kept me from buying one lol
They are up to version 4. They sells these in the thousands each month. If the price shocks you then you are not their target audience. I believe the same people that buy a $2000 DJI MAVIC each year are the audience for this.
If your friend is a professional helicopter pilot, why doesn't he mention the vibrations that you can even see in the video (you can see the wiggle and wobble @ 1:50min)? I would be ashamed as a manufacturer to sell a helicopter like that that vibrates like that right out of the box..
Justan FYI, the servos are not digital. I had a bad one from the factory (they never fixed it or helped me out btw) and had to replace it. I was surprised that they aren't digital. If anyone has a vibration at takeoff, shut it down immediately, check and recheck your servos, swash plate etc. My first flight with mine, while sitting on the pavement, the landing gear just collapsed from the vibration, broke the blades.. second flight over two weeks and 50 bucks in parts later, was vibrating on the ground, I just went for it, sent it in the air where it went smooth for a few seconds and then started gyrating like elvis in 59, then would smooth, and then gyrate.. autolanded it, it gyrated as it was touching the ground, blades struck and schrapnel went EVERYWHERE. Pulled all the parts, replaced everything but the shaft (rolled it over glass to check it for being eccentric, ran it up without blades and checked the main shaft without blades.. no good, sitting and waiting- Bought another, no problems at all. These really are not for beginners.
Strange, mine are digital. Also vibrations are not from the servos, they are from your blades not being on correctly. Plenty of NEWBIES have this problem, so I honestly should make a video about it to help people out.
@ I had my blades balanced and set so that they could move freely in the sockets. I had a bad servo motor, gears were fine, but were very tight. I went back and forth with the factory on all counts. Had a bad one and it almost nailed me in the head with a new busted blade that I still haven't found yet
The overhead shots of the rotor blades are awesome!

Correct. In the next video about the Army Green version of this heli I may place an FPV camera on it and fly it around with FPV goggles.
Any servo on 4S better be good 😂
Ouch! I know the small scale precludes simulating the sound, but with or without a gun in the door, the Huey has to have 2 blades. 4 blades is like dying Marilyn Monroe into a brunette.
It is only a stab in the dark but I would investigate the vibration problem by trying it with 4 blades or replacing the 2 blade head.It obviously flys with only half of the 4 blade head functioning but leaving half the pitch control gear unstressed is an attention getter.
what's flight difference between 2 vs 4 blades? Is 4 blades more stable or does it consume more battery?
I have not tried it so not sure what the outcome is.
I have a qustion please. Is it possible to switch from 3D to GPS mid flight?
Yes
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thank you
as a beginner heli which one is more suitable in your opinion, this or the goosky venom?😊
This one… you’d never be able to fly the venom as a newbie
Nice helicopter, would be better if it had a camera! I don't get why most of these heli,s dont have a camera option?
Can you add an FPV system to the helicopter?
Yes
In 3d Does it at least hold altitude for you?? So many questions I haven't been able to get the answers to just by watching videos, I'm really surprised these questions haven't been asked
Altitude hold in 3D mode??? I’m guessing you have never flown 3D and are confusing it with 6G.
You can set it up in the new version software. You can choose how many meter high you want gps to take over in 3d mode. (ATTI mode) So if you make a mistake, GPS takes over at the set altitude.
Can you give us a link to the blinking Light you put on the Heli?
Didn’t I place it with all the other links under the video?
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I don't see it.

Love it 👋👋👋😁👍😱😀😀😀😀😀🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks 😀
I'm getting the V3 Bell 206 soon, I'm worried about flying in GPS and then it losing GPS so I would rather just start with 3D, I'm a pretty good heli pilot, I'll just take it slow, what can you make trim adjustments or do you need to with the flight controller???
Trim a helicopter in 3D mode? I’m guessing you have never flown 3D.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 so switching to 3D mode would not only take away GPS stability but also the six-way gyro stability?

Funny you’re highlighting this now because I was just looking at buying that. Now I’m going to watch this and decide
I think you’ll be happy with one. Most of the guys at my flying field have them (from version 1 to 4), and they really enjoy them.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks Steve you made up mind and mine is on the way. Thanks for such great info with all your Videos. But there is a lot of spouses I bet that say NO not another Dr.Drone review because it usually means something new is being bought. lol😀😀.
But they do offer it with the 4 blad option when you buy it.
Correct. But if you wish to convert 2 blades to 4 or 4 blades to 2, that option is also available.
ya we love and we hate the price
Hello - just wondering your thoughts on the color scheme they have the green and white versions - would the white one be easier to see in tree lines and in the sky compared to the green one? Also they now have a four blade version what would be the advantages or disadvantages to four blades over two - thank you
White is easier to see if far from you. 2 blades are scale looking. 4 blades makes it look bigger.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thank You
I refer to the cable entries
I’m certain you mean something but I honestly don’t know what you mean. In English a Cable is like a long object that attaches at one end and then at the other. Bridges are held up with cables, and cables hold heavy things in the air and other things to other objects.
Where is it made?
Definitely not made in the USA 😂. In other words it is made in exactly the same place that the cell phone, tablet or computer you are reading this on was made.
Does this helicopter need to be registered?
It depends if your country wants you to register unmanned remotely controlled vehicles of 250 grams or more.
Nice video thanks wish the paint job was a bit more interesting it looks like a flying hospital.
There is also the Army Green version
Can this heli autorotate?
I don’t believe any RC helicopter does that because pilots don’t fly them high enough
Looks great, but I doubt beginners will love the price...
It is the same as buying a budget DJI MAVIC, which many beginners to drones buy.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 A budget Mini 4K (latest version) is 299 euro, this heli 700 euro.
Price?
As mentioned in the video, you must do like the thousands of other viewers and click on the link that I place in the video description and it will show you the price for your country.
Very good heli but the shaking is a bit obvious
It shakes while skids are on the ground when the head speed increases or decreases (take off & landing)
the blades need to be balanced.that is why it skakes.one blade weighs more that the other.
Not really. I have had plenty of people confused on how to fix the issue. It is very simple. I’ll make a video about it soon.
Bummer!? The new blade design looks like it does not allow you to adjust main blade tension?? Not good, IMO!!
I think they were going for a scale look
I wish i could buy this with none of the GPS stuff.. i really dont want that for a scale model and +700€ is too expensive
800.00 lol no way
They are up to version 4. They sells these in the thousands each month. If the price shocks you then you are not their target audience. I believe the same people that buy a $2000 DJI MAVIC each year are the audience for this.
Not for me, thanks for the vid demonstrating this.
If your friend is a professional helicopter pilot, why doesn't he mention the vibrations that you can even see in the video (you can see the wiggle and wobble @ 1:50min)? I would be ashamed as a manufacturer to sell a helicopter like that that vibrates like that right out of the box..
Ok… you really have to stop skipping through videos and then posting comments about a topic that was covered in the video. Geeezzz
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Ok my bad this time. You mean @ 2:23min and @ 9:00min?
All it needs is a camera.
your crazy to move gps so close you .... many time gps loose on this model you head will fly
Pulled all the parts, replaced everything but the shaft (rolled it over glass to check it for being eccentric, ran it up without blades and checked the main shaft without blades.. no good, sitting and waiting-
Bought another, no problems at all.
Had a bad one and it almost nailed me in the head with a new busted blade that I still haven't found yet
the color is horrendous, they should have kept the military color scheme
They did! Not sure how you missed it but I showed the two colors available… military green and the civilian gray.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 My bad
