Would love to see what happens if you attempt to have a whole ton of samples playing simultaneously. Some other groove boxes tend to "voice steal" because they run out of polyphony, and I've heard good things about Move. Please let us know 🙂
I don't usually just buy these things on day one but I've been in the market for a groovebox. Honest reaction, I absolutely love it. That said, first update is going to be crucial because there's clearly a lot of features to come (MIDI clock in, pitch bend in etc) but apparently they're on it 🥳
I have a 3 and a move. The move is definitely not a replacement for push. Think of it as an inspiration machine, and a lightweight controller. Definitely fun I love it! But the 3 is really just 90% of Ableton in a standalone device (if you get the standalone one)
It looks good, however I prefer my way, I have a launch pad for triggering clips, a midi controller for mixer control and plugin control, and a nano key for playing. Sometimes you want to play notes while simultaneously triggering clips, so a separate keyboard is better, similarly, if you wish to use the mixer or plugin while playing or while triggering clips, separate controllers make a lot more sense. That's said, the form factor of move looks appealing, it seems pretty limited in functionality though. However it could be great to live jam with two or three people all using move, so one person does the drums, another melodies, one guy does bassline and so on....
@@LNADoesAudioStuff from what I've seen so far, that would make it perfect as someone who needs a grab and go device. I am looking forward to your review!
What's your first impression? Also I am planning to make tutorial about Move, what would you want to know about it?
I’m loving mine so far! ..I just wish there were printable version of the manual for standard paper sizes (strange grope, I know 😅)

It needs a mic/guit input so that you can sample and sing.
It has a mic input :)
Thinking of upgrading from my Push 1- trying to decide between Push 3 and Move. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Would you say its cut down version of the push device ?
Magnifique 👍Merci 💐

Yeah I've got push 3.
It doesn't give you the notes you want when you really need them.
Just males plain music unless you edit on your DAW.
She's gasping because she's wondering, what will it do with this.. use my master's degree or meet some rappers in my hood and make some fire beats😅
Can you put third party plugins on it?
No, but you can control Live with it, but in standalone mode

64GB of storage is criminal!!!
Using Move cloud is practical thought to expand.
So the only way to use Ableton sequence is in a device 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
There is sequencer in Live and Push 2/3. Just the interface design is different in Move 😊
@@LNADoesAudioStuffwhats the sequencer called in live?
@@iamjio.the MIDI grid area is a polyphonic sequencer. Works same as the seuqncer in Move etc.
@@LNADoesAudioStuff are you referring to the piano roll?
@@iamjio.yes. The MIDI grid area is a sequencer and has a piano roll also 😊
I think that it -just- misses the mark.
Of course.. i have a push 3 so... im spoiled. 😉
Well yeah so different purpose and price point than Push 3 😅 I am just glad now to have something smaller (but powerful) to travel with!
Oh yeah for sure. Don't get me wrong, Ableton makes amazing hardware and is a fabulous company. ❤
overpriced garbage
I think it’s actually super powerfull for the price 😊
@@LNADoesAudioStuffagreed. It looks to check so many boxes. Thank you for the demo!
Some people just wanna shit on others' good time.
