I would recommend stretching the whole frame in length. Then it will steer much better and so will get more power to the ground. Also Ike will fit in much better ;)
Stretch the frame and raise the engine a bit (if necessary) to be able to get a proper steering angle. No reason for it to be this small- just looks uncomfortable for both of you. Would be way more fun if you can sit in it for more than 20min!
If you guys are enjoying the build, then disregard all the negative, not building anything people in the comments. I enjoy seeing the builds and watching the learning process that you guys go through. Mistakes are made. Solutions are reached. and you guys have a ton of fun doing it all. Hats off to you and look forward to many more experiments and builds.
Why does John think everything they build has to be wrecked by jumping or going faster than is safe risking an accident -- this is one of your best builds EVER and it's not finished. Ike thinks it's puttering along, I think it was going about as fast anything that small (THAT CARRIES full size adults) should go. I'd love to see something you build stay together fer ever. LOVED the VID and BUILD
They need to build 2 comparable to Rather B`sc Grave Digger and Grind Hard`s Coronol etc and have a epic race around the grand prix or go on a cool adventure etc What you said would be cool also ✌️
I love the “unconventional” steering setup with the socket adapter. It looks pretty darn convenient to me. It has worked good all of this time for 2 years now that the project is finished.
I thought the suspension looked fine. It looked like it was floating like those trophy trucks that do the Baja 500. If it were me I would keep it like that until it starts bottoming out.
LOL! John is getting so much shade in the comments. The truth is he's just so expert at mini bikes that anything else he drives gets crashed into a tree to make room in the world for more mini bikes.
that thing looks fantastic. it really does just float over the bumps. you could watch the front control arms just sucking up every bit of the road but the body didnt vibrate at all with it. top knotch
Seeing how the recent projects have been turning out so good, I think it would be cool to see you guys take it up a notch and build something like a sand rail or other variety of buggy. Something big.
8:49 The best disclaimer I have ever heard. And sometimes ya just gotta go with the tool ya got. OK now I watched the video and that cart may be the most hilarious thing I've seen on four wheels in awhile. Awesome first run.
Its turning out great! Suspension actually seems to work really well, good job! You guys should definitely consider extending the frame another 2-3in though, ya'll would fit in it a lot better and it would be quite a bit more stable. I dont think you're too deep, you could still do it and you'll be really happy if you do.
You should put the steering wheel forward more on the other side of that bar, you will have to cut a hole in the engine plate but it will totally be worth it, 10x more comfortable
You can usually gain a little height on your tires by over inflating them and leaving them out in the hot sun. After their stretch session you can drop the psi to the desired level for use. This is very useful when you have a zero turn mower that likes to vere one way or the other due to different tire heights and you've used up all your adjustment.
I am definitely using a tillotson engine and a juggernaut torque converter when i build a power wheels kart. Its more go kart esque than using a motorcycle engine
Switching to an impact rated swivel is going to give you better material properties for welding than a standard chrome vanadium. Still not ideal, but better.
To safely hammer on something threaded like that axle shaft, always thread the nut on until it's flush with the axle surface and hammer away without worrying about the threads being damaged.
Don't worry Ike, negative comments are like farts on a breezy day...they stink for a second, but then they are gone... Love the builds guys and am a frequent customer of Go Power Sports. They are a great TEXAS company!
I think Ike looks funnier on this than he does on a Honda Monkey XD
Y don't yall extend it so your lower in the cart
😂true
Ike how you do a burnout with 4wheel drive?
@@Andrew-ft7hu you cant endless u put your front bumper on a wall or something

Anybody else expect John to crash it when he picked up speed ? Jk this is dope
IT wouldn't have surprised me 😁🤣😂 Hey it's all in good fun and dope as hell to watch 🔥👍✌️
Long as nobody gets seriously hurt that is!!!
I'm giving it two more episodes before he crashes it. Anyone taking bets or....???

Lol joe biden cmon man

@@lylekehrer6159 I think they junked it out.

That's exactly what I was thinking
Wouldn’t stretching it make the turning radius worse?

@@gonracn i agree with you, but i wouldn't raise the engine, just to keep the centre of mass low
Rather B welding extended their grave ninga 650 a few inches. Yall need to do that. Chop the frame, put plugs in and welderup.
I thought you said the n word😂

I agree. I want to like it, but it's just to short. It's built for my 6 year it looks like.

Every kid needs a beast of an engine like this on their Power Wheels.

I love it looks awesome. I know you were going for lightweight small footprint. But I think making it 3-4 inches longer would be hugely beneficial.
You should build a jeep version with a different engine and then you should race them on the cars and cameras grand prix.
They need to build 2 comparable to Rather B`sc Grave Digger and Grind Hard`s Coronol etc and have a epic race around the grand prix or go on a cool adventure etc What you said would be cool also ✌️
@@EJ-74 - That would be cool, but Rather B's needs some serious help because it is extremely weak structurally. However, it is cool looking.

that suspension loooks soooo satisfying. i wanna drive it sooo badly
We need more 4x4 builds ! Awesome job guys
"Dang it bobby, thats all we got" my fave line
Many of your guys builds are cool but this one is by far my favourite
Hey if that hardened universal cracks, just replace it with an impact rated one, I bet that would work just fine!
Is John going to hit a tree with this one to lol
Yes he is
Hello, hope you have a great day!!! I love how you explained how to put the new axle in.
I love the “unconventional” steering setup with the socket adapter. It looks pretty darn convenient to me. It has worked good all of this time for 2 years now that the project is finished.
I can't wait to see the body together in one piece. So it's level in the front & back. It looks incredible!
That thing is cool! I love it and can’t wait to see it all finished!
One-off the things we love about cars and cameras is the use what ya have For testing purposes only of course lol
I thought the suspension looked fine. It looked like it was floating like those trophy trucks that do the Baja 500. If it were me I would keep it like that until it starts bottoming out.

It's not just small, it is truly smol.
No, no, stop, stop!, stop!! I feel you Issac...been there. Glad it turned out well. Good reason for little trees
If it works, use it. You’re builds are always great. As they say, “parts is parts”.
Was not sure about this in the beginning and so happy to see I was proven wrong
that thing looks fantastic. it really does just float over the bumps. you could watch the front control arms just sucking up every bit of the road but the body didnt vibrate at all with it. top knotch
I did the exact same thing with some steering on a kart a few months ago. Once it's welded up, it works great.
To add weight in the front make a heavy bumper and brush guard but awesome finally a true off road buggy 4x4 for the win
Time to buy a lathe and mill, and make your own U-joints for steering.
Just need lathe and build lifting table on tool holders place. Just chuck the bit and you can machine parts with out spending ridiculous sums to mill.
I'm glad that John is fine with Isaac being 180 lbs.
Seeing how the recent projects have been turning out so good, I think it would be cool to see you guys take it up a notch and build something like a sand rail or other variety of buggy. Something big.
This thing might just be my second favorite build. Next to the cozy coupe. Third would be the rat rod wagon.
I'm digging it guys. Ready to see that guy in action again.

Very inventive using that wobble socket joint for a stearing knuckle.
Not really considering they could have got an actual steering shaft u joint for $25 and it wouldn’t be sloppy
I did the same basic thing for a steering u joint.. but i used a tighter ball and socket impact swivel.
