  • The new Yonex Astrox 88 series was launched in March 2021. Surprisingly, in addition to the D and S models, Yonex has introduced “takedown” versions with identical colourways but slightly different features to reflect the price.
    This video explains the differences between the three versions of the Astrox 88S called the Astrox 88S Pro, 88S Game and 88S Tour
    How do they feel and more importantly, how do they play?
    A full written review of the Yonex 88S Pro can be found on my website:

    I really love these rackets. Not too heavy, quick but still powerful for smash.

    Hi Coach Paul, comparing this to NanoFlare 800 that you reviewed previously, which one is more forgiving, easier to use. Is it 88S Pro or NF800?

    • @TheBadmintonCoach

      Good question. This is dependent on your ability to play with stiffer flex rackets. 700 is generally a more forgiving racket

    Hi Paul I just wanted to ask a question.
    I am looking for a racket which has powerful smash aswel. Which one would you recommend according to your experience. Do let me know thanks

    • @TheBadmintonCoach
      @TheBadmintonCoach  2 роки тому

      Each racket will handle power differently and this is down to the user. Some will hit the Game harder because it’s slightly lighter in the head and the shaft is more flexible.

      Hey Paul thanks for your reply I’m grateful.
      According to your experience what racket would you suggest for best attacking and smashing.
      I believe im good on smashing and just want more power on smashing. And like you said each racket handle differently so kindly let me know your recommendation. I will be grateful. Thanks

      @@BORKARKIRAN I could not play a full session with the Astrox 100 Game. I get tired really fast. I switched over to the Arcsaber 7 series: Pro, Tour, & Play. Good control & faster but less overhead smash power. At least, I can smash repeatedly. Drives & punch clears are great. Players on a budget, I'd recommend getting the Tour. Play is in my bag as a spare or when I am randomly partnered with someone who swings at everything. I used to play with Duora; smash is more powerful than the Arcsaber 7.
