I mean, it's pretty obvious that Billy doesn't have either set of memories; Kaplan's or Maximoff's. If he did remember anything from his life in Westview, he not only would've remembered Ralph as "Uncle Pietro", but he probably would've been a lot more upset about the Sparky revelation and asked more pointed questions. He also wouldn't have needed to search for confirmation that he was Billy Maximoff, he would've just known.
Good point. I agree. He wouldn't have to play detective to find out the truth about himself otherwise. Or named himself Billy M. to Agatha. And even though he's manipulated Agatha and the others so he can make this journey, he's sincerely excited to be part of the coven, to learn witchcraft. If he remembered he's be far more wary and distrustful.
Hw exactly does he know he's Billy though. He could have just as easily been Tommy. Also he stated he senses Tommy being alive but cant determine where.
Btw, the way Agatha goes around Billy is reminiscent of how Agatha walked around Wanda in episode 8 of wandavision! Especially the “in how many pieces” is very similar to “covered in holes”
Some form or part of William HAS to be in the body because Billy says he can only hear the thoughts of people he cares about, and yet he could immediately hear the thoughts of William's parents. Why would he care about them if he doesn't even know them?

I think he feels both sides and at this point pretty much is both of them as one person, so he still has all these memories of his life with the kaplans but also the ones of Wanda and vision.

I don't think Teen remebers being William or Billy, he has total amnesia hence why he feels no real connection to Wanda or Vision, just to Tommy (likely due to the fact they are twins and twins are known to have a weird connection to each other in a lot of urban myths)
I just took it as he's been told Wanda is dead and Vision was dismantled. The only person left was Tommy. He feels closest to him because they're twins and twins can sense each other. Just my thoughts

Tbh, of he only has vague memories... The twins did and experienced everything together (even speed aging). They weren't always around their parents, tho... And their world kept changing, but they remained tightly-knit brothers.

I think “familiar by thy side” was to mislead us into thinking of a familiar/animal, but all along it was someone that Agatha is FAMILIAR with from before

In the context of the rest of the description it wouldn't really make sense if they were saying he was Agatha's familiar; mostly because it doesn't mention Agatha at all lol
MY takeaway for the Toby reference is Sarah's baby brother that Goblin King Jareth kidnapped in Jim Henson's Labyrinth. A semi-musical about someone on a quest in a strange magical world comprised of creatures and aesthetics from the protagnoists own interests and collection, on their way to find their brother at the end of a dangerous road?
I am still blown away by Joe Locke's performance. He convinced me he was 13, compared to the 16yo teen he's played in every other episode. So well done.

Wiccan literally has a unique backstory. He has different personality, orgin, motivation from other young superheroes. He is not superhero wannabe. He just wants to survive and solve the problems. That makes him special just like agatha said.
THIS. The other young superhero characters we were introduced to like Ms Marvel and Kate Bishop were kind of snooty in the sense that they thrived off popularity and having powers or being the best shot. While Billy doesn't want any of that. He just wants to reunite with his family. From the beginning William/Billy acted very mature and responsible for their age. Even if Billy was a week old in the Hex, and gained knowledge of a 13 year old, he showed great responsibility and wanted to help others. This is good character development.
Actually him an his grandfather are both Jewish ✡️. Magento. If the mcu recons the comics making wanda not magneto daughter anymore. Which I think they will. Rhe only reason they did that in the first place is because fox owned the rights to the x men prior to disneys buy out. Hope that helps 🙏

I was watching another recap video that went over everything in William/Billy's room that ended up in the Witches Road, so when he said it was exactly as he imagined it, I think the Road changed for HIM and it's really his journey on the road and not Agatha's.
As a board game nerd, I'll also point out that in the bedroom are the hobbyist games "Castles of Mad King Ludwig" and "Hues and Cues" on the chair. And then on the shelf, there appears to be "Carcassonne" and "Silver"
No, the ram driver was on the right side of the road, as soon as the Kaplan parents were distracted by the hex, they were in the wrong lane, causing the ram driver who WAS paying attention to swerve into the right hand lane. Then the car crash happens

This was the BEST episode by far! I LOVE a good origin story, and the Episode 1 scenes from Billy's POV were genius! I rewound the "poke the bear" bit so many times 😂 Joe Locke PERFECTLY performed "breaking, but not really because the character would actually be laughing in this situation" 🙌

I think William Kaplan might have been a witch on his own right because that would make his body suited for Billy Maximoff. I also believe that Rio’s speech about “magick took the path of least resistance” explains how his soul slipped into the body
I don't think it was because of the sigil on why Wanda couldn't find Billy and Tommy since it's not confirmed that Tommy also got the sigil. Wanda could've found Tommy but didn't and that's because the plot for MoM was already written before they knew what they were gonna do with Agatha Harkness.
Well Michael Waldron, the writer of MoM, infamously did not bother to watch WandaVision before writing his script. Maybe Jac Schaefer decided to ignore what Waldron wrote - and how he butchered Wanda's character - in MoM.

Ironically - I was watching this episode and was trying to remember why I know the portion he was reading, turns out that was the exact same one I did for my Bat Mitzvah! 😂 Given by the original date for my ceremony (COVID pushed it back), William Kaplan was born some time around April or May if his own ceremony was around his birthday too.
I honestly think that this whole walk of the witch's road is a hex put up by Billy and that they are underground in the old Westview transportation system

A semi-musical about someone on a quest in a strange magical world comprised of creatures and aesthetics from the protagnoists own interests and collection, on their way to find their brother at the end of a dangerous road?
More likely a reference about Joe playing Toby on Broadway in Sweeney Todd.

Wiccan literally has a unique backstory. He has different personality, orgin, motivation from other young superheroes. He is not superhero wannabe. He just wants to survive and solve the problems. That makes him special just like agatha said.
THIS. The other young superhero characters we were introduced to like Ms Marvel and Kate Bishop were kind of snooty in the sense that they thrived off popularity and having powers or being the best shot. While Billy doesn't want any of that. He just wants to reunite with his family. From the beginning William/Billy acted very mature and responsible for their age. Even if Billy was a week old in the Hex, and gained knowledge of a 13 year old, he showed great responsibility and wanted to help others. This is good character development.

Well, he also questioned what a sigil was and he obviously knew that. I was watching another recap video that went over everything in William/Billy's room that ended up in the Witches Road, so when he said it was exactly as he imagined it, I think the Road changed for HIM and it's really his journey on the road and not Agatha's.

No, the ram driver was on the right side of the road, as soon as the Kaplan parents were distracted by the hex, they were in the wrong lane, causing the ram driver who WAS paying attention to swerve into the right hand lane. Then the car crash happens

This was the BEST episode by far! I LOVE a good origin story, and the Episode 1 scenes from Billy's POV were genius! I rewound the "poke the bear" bit so many times 😂 Joe Locke PERFECTLY performed "breaking, but not really because the character would actually be laughing in this situation" 🙌

I think William Kaplan might have been a witch on his own right because that would make his body suited for Billy Maximoff. I also believe that Rio’s speech about “magick took the path of least resistance” explains how his soul slipped into the body
I don't think it was because of the sigil on why Wanda couldn't find Billy and Tommy since it's not confirmed that Tommy also got the sigil. Wanda could've found Tommy but didn't and that's because the plot for MoM was already written before they knew what they were gonna do with Agatha Harkness.
Well Michael Waldron, the writer of MoM, infamously did not bother to watch WandaVision before writing his script. Maybe Jac Schaefer decided to ignore what Waldron wrote - and how he butchered Wanda's character - in MoM.
