I've had my Invicta Pro Diver 8926 for 4+ years and I never knew these things. Thanks! I'm 74 and it's the best watch I've ever owned. It's very accurate and feels great. Today, almost nobody cares who made your watch. What people do care about is the quality of your cell phone.
Awesome video! I’m not big into watches and this watch has been collecting dust for years in my dresser. I thought it needed a battery and I never got around to taking it to the shop. Thanks for bringing this beautiful piece back to life for me.
Thanks so much, took my watch to have a battery placed not realizing it is an automatic and the repairman said my watch was dead, I have not had it long and refused to believe that. Thanks so much for saving me time and money. :-)
for people having issue with the watch, that goes with the Hour ahead or behind.. Just be sure to turn / wind / charge the watch from time to time, and do not count only on the automatic movement wind/charge.. and thanks for the video, thought my watch is broken but after this winding (by spinning the crown) it's showing the correct time
Same for me. My first auto was a Fossil (yeah, I know a fashion watch). I knew nothing about autos and the watch would run for a day or so, I'd shake it, it would run for about an hour. Eventually it would only run for about 20 seconds and then stop. I threw it in the garbage after it sat in a drawer for another 3 years or so. Its safe to say, I had an automatic with absolutely no knowledge of how to maintain them. I begged off autos for about 10 years thinking they were all junk (even the high end Rolex and Omegas). I thought they were all garbage for having auto movements (yeah, I know). But the Pro Divers bigger brother (42mm) got me back into autos. This time I followed the instructions in the box and also watched a few videos. Now I'm an auto lover.
Good video instruction. Just got my Invicta Pro Diver and although I did set the date and time correctly and the seconds hand was already moving, I thought it was working. After leaving it on the desk for 5 hours, I noticed the time was slow by almost half an hour. I immediately thought I had a bad watch. Now I learned that I need to initially wind the watch. Thankx !
I like your reviews very much they are calm and gentle and you are very own minded and fair- lm sure your instructions were very helpful for people who have their first automatic watch .When l got my first auto l figured it out for myself because their was’nt a video like yours available but now there is l have 4invicta pro divers and they have performed wonderfully over the years We are very lucky to have them because a lot of people can’t spend hundreds or thousands on an automatic watch and these watches provide an excellent performance, once again, thankyou --your fan,Robyn Griffin,Sydney Australia
Hello Robyn Griffin, thanks for writing these kind words. Hope life is good in Sydney. Fond memories of University of Sydney, Glebe, Double Bay, Rushcutters Bay Park 🙌🏻
Thank you I wasn't sure, I could not hear, feel, or tell if it was actually working or not. My Invicta arrived today it has a grey face and with an all-silver coin crown. I believe it is an older model because I couldn't find it in their store but it is a brand new watch and it looks really good as does yours. I want to get one like yours next. Again Thank You Sr.
Excellent demonstration! I just bought this watch and was clueless on how to get this thing started. Fortunately your video shows the same watch I have and your video instantly assisted me Thank you and Well done! 👍
My pro diver in stainless and blue shows up today, being impatient as I am I wanted to know how to work it, it's also my first automatic. Thanks for the info, looking forward to owning this awesome piece!
Thank you for this video, this was really helpful! i recently just bought this watch but and was looking for a guideabout more information about the rewinding, how many times do you usually do turn the crown, and how many hours/days until you have to do it again?
I love this watch except for the fact that the screw down crown strips out after about 2 years for me. I paid almost the cost of a new watch for the repair and 2 years later it's stripped out. An owner of the Rolex Submariner told me that his screw down crown was good after 20 years.
I am no expert. I would say no need to wind it if you were it everyday because your wrist movements will most likely charge the movement enough. That’s my 2 cents. Correct me if I am wrong.
I have two Invicta quarts divers, but after I have set the time, when I push back in the crown wheel, the minutes hand will erratically in random manner jump forward or backward (part of) one, or several minutes.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.THE SO CALLED "INSTRUCTION INFORMATION" BOOKLET THAT CAME WITH MY NEW WATCH DOES NOT EXPLAIN HOW TO DO ANY OF THESE SETTINGS. Perhaps use a cotton cloth for a better grip around the crown. Also make sure the metal is not too cold. Thus wear it on the wrist so it can heat up a bit from your skin temperature.
Approximately how long do you get out of your invicta per wind,Like how long did you get out of this watch after the video? I appreciate your time and help in advance. Thanks
I do it only 20 times. Or just a couple of times and just throw it on the wrist. Since it will also wind from your normal wrist movements, as long as you actually move your body ;)
Have the same watch for three days. The number 8 has popped off rolling around inside now. I will be missing it when it's gone. Mine runs great so far otherwise.
I have this exact watch and I am having to wind it everyday without delay due to the ticking hand being a few seconds ahead of actual time, is this normal?

When you wind the crown, are you charging the movement or winding the mainspring? Does this watch even have a mainspring? Thanks.
Very clear and succinct. Helped me so much. By the way which which watch band is that? Thanks for the video.
I appreciate your kind words. Strap is called Marine National by Zuludiver.

P.S

Much appreciated. Have fun with this gorgeous diver!
Hello, Thankyou for the video. I want to know where can i get that band for this watch?
You are welcome sir. If think this one is by the brand Zuludiver.
Is there a way to tell when the watch is fully wound? And can this type of watch be overwound and damaged?
I don’t think there is a way to tell it’s fully wound. I would be careful to avoid overwinding. In theory overwinding could damage the movement.
Thank you for a well detailed and easy to understand video.
Thanks I was able to change it

i recently just bought this watch but and was looking for a guideabout more information about the rewinding, how many times do you usually do turn the crown, and how many hours/days until you have to do it again?

Then just wear it and the movement starts charging itself from your daily wrist movements.

Wow I feel really silly right now! I was turning the bezel thinking that was charging it 😅 what does the bezel turn for?
It’s for timekeeping purposes.
When i turn my knob clockwise it turns the clock backwards so i have to turn mine counter clockwise to move time forward..

Good day I just got 1 of these watches about 4 months now but my issue is every 3 to 4 days I have to set time and date why
Maybe because the movement isn’t charged enough? More wrist movements? Or maybe you need to service the movement by a watch maker.
Any suggestion to loosen a too tight crown as I am unable to turn it open counterclockwise?
Perhaps use a cotton cloth for a better grip around the crown. Also make sure the metal is not too cold. Thus wear it on the wrist so it can heat up a bit from your skin temperature.

Approximately how long do you get out of your invicta per wind,Like how long did you get out of this watch after the video? I appreciate your time and help in advance. Thanks
With the movement NH35 (Seiko) you should get a power reserve of about 41 hours. Thus, when fully wound, you should get about 1.5 days of action... 😁

I have this exact watch and I am having to wind it everyday without delay due to the ticking hand being a few seconds ahead of actual time, is this normal?
It's normal for the second hand to not be super precise. The movement may have some shortcomings in accuracy. It's acceptable at this price point.
