I've had my Invicta Pro Diver 8926 for 4+ years and I never knew these things. Thanks! I'm 74 and it's the best watch I've ever owned. It's very accurate and feels great. Today, almost nobody cares who made your watch. What people do care about is the quality of your cell phone.
Thanks for your kind words. I hope it will give you 4+ more years of fun!
Honestly, thank you so much.. I really couldn’t figure out how to change it..
Your video was very detailed and helpful😊
Much appreciated! Enjoy it!
Awesome video! I’m not big into watches and this watch has been collecting dust for years in my dresser. I thought it needed a battery and I never got around to taking it to the shop. Thanks for bringing this beautiful piece back to life for me.
You are welcome. Thanks for your kind words. Big fan of Nipsey here. The Marathon continues!
Thanks so much, took my watch to have a battery placed not realizing it is an automatic and the repairman said my watch was dead, I have not had it long and refused to believe that. Thanks so much for saving me time and money. :-)
Much appreciated!
Getting back into watches, had an automatic years ago and did all the wrong things. Thanks for explaining what NOT to do- very helpful!
Welcome back sir. Thanks for watching.
Same for me. My first auto was a Fossil (yeah, I know a fashion watch). I knew nothing about autos and the watch would run for a day or so, I'd shake it, it would run for about an hour. Eventually it would only run for about 20 seconds and then stop. I threw it in the garbage after it sat in a drawer for another 3 years or so. Its safe to say, I had an automatic with absolutely no knowledge of how to maintain them. I begged off autos for about 10 years thinking they were all junk (even the high end Rolex and Omegas). I thought they were all garbage for having auto movements (yeah, I know). But the Pro Divers bigger brother (42mm) got me back into autos. This time I followed the instructions in the box and also watched a few videos. Now I'm an auto lover.
I swear by automatic movements. They give so much joy to me 🤣
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! My grandmas is very happy with your detailed video. She can finally tell time again on her new Invicta Watch. 😄
Thanks
I just got this exact watch and your tutorial helped me immensely. Thanks!
Got my first mechanical watch on perfect time with your instructions, thanks.
You are very welcome sir! Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you for posting this video! Your instructions were very clear and easy to follow... 👍
Much appreciated
I got this watch as a gift and misplaced the instructions. Never used it for awhile until I saw your video. Awesome!! Thank you very much.
Thanks for your kind words. Enjoy this nice watch 😄
I like your reviews very much they are calm and gentle and you are very own minded and fair- lm sure your instructions were very helpful for people who have their first automatic watch .When l got my first auto l figured it out for myself because their was’nt a video like yours available but now there is l have 4invicta pro divers and they have performed wonderfully over the years We are very lucky to have them because a lot of people can’t spend hundreds or thousands on an automatic watch and these watches provide an excellent performance, once again, thankyou --your fan,Robyn Griffin,Sydney Australia
Hello Robyn Griffin, thanks for writing these kind words. Hope life is good in Sydney. Fond memories of University of Sydney, Glebe, Double Bay, Rushcutters Bay Park 🙌🏻
for people having issue with the watch, that goes with the Hour ahead or behind.. Just be sure to turn / wind / charge the watch from time to time, and do not count only on the automatic movement wind/charge..
and thanks for the video, thought my watch is broken but after this winding (by spinning the crown) it's showing the correct time
Much appreciated!
Can You tell me more? 😊
Great video. I was freaking out when the date didn't change like my quartz watch, but the video was very insightful and helpful!
Thank you sir!
Awesome video, Dad got this for me and I had to quickly figure this out before work. Very succinct yet detailed 👍
Thanks for your kind words. Enjoy this beautiful watch!
Excellent demonstration! I just bought this watch and was clueless on how to get this thing started. Fortunately your video shows the same watch I have and your video instantly assisted me Thank you and Well done! 👍
Have fun wearing your new watch. Glad this video helped you and thanks for your comment (like and subscribe? 😂🫢).
Excellent video. Very clear and straight to the point. My first automatic is now set. Like the Invicta. Just got the 40mm in black and gold.
Thank you sir! The black and gold looks nice!
Good video instruction. Just got my Invicta Pro Diver and although I did set the date and time correctly and the seconds hand was already moving, I thought it was working. After leaving it on the desk for 5 hours, I noticed the time was slow by almost half an hour. I immediately thought I had a bad watch. Now I learned that I need to initially wind the watch. Thankx !
Thanks for sharing your story. Probably it wasn’t fully wound indeed!
Thank you this helped me out a lot 💪💪🔥 I love invicta automatic watches and always struggled to change the date according to the day I wear it 🤙🤙👍💪

My Invicta arrived today it has a grey face and with an all-silver coin crown.
I believe it is an older model because I couldn't find it in their store but it is a brand new watch and it looks really good as does yours. I want to get one like yours next. Again Thank You Sr.

My pro diver in stainless and blue shows up today, being impatient as I am I wanted to know how to work it, it's also my first automatic. Thanks for the info, looking forward to owning this awesome piece!
Have fun with it!
Amazing watch, I too have it Doesn't look less than a Rolex. I also have reviewed an Invicta
Thanks from NYC
Perfect tutorial 👍🏾
Much appreciated!
Bro helped me a lot thanks
Thanks bro
Thank you from downunder! 👌🏻😊
Thanks for watching. I love Australia! I lived sometime in beautiful Sydney.
thanks
Well done thank you.
Thank you sir!
Just got mine and had no idea how to work it. Thanks!
Enjoy it. Thanks for your kind comment.
I love this watch except for the fact that the screw down crown strips out after about 2 years for me. I paid almost the cost of a new watch for the repair and 2 years later it's stripped out.
An owner of the Rolex Submariner told me that his screw down crown was good after 20 years.
Well done.
Much appreciated
When you wind the crown, are you charging the movement or winding the mainspring? Does this watch even have a mainspring? Thanks.
Thank you 👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Thank you for your video! Not sure why the manual did not have instructions for the crown to be unscrewed.
Thanks for your kind comment. Glad this video proved to be useful to you!
where do you buy your watches?
Very clear and succinct. Helped me so much. By the way which which watch band is that? Thanks for the video.
I appreciate your kind words. Strap is called Marine National by Zuludiver.
Hello, Thankyou for the video. I want to know where can i get that band for this watch?
You are welcome sir. If think this one is by the brand Zuludiver.
Hi and thanks (thumbs up) is it normal that this watch is charging when the crown is being screwed back in?
Thanks for the thumbs up! I don’t know if it’s normal but I just checked and I have the exact same thing. I guess it’s normal!
THANK YOU SO MUCH.THE SO CALLED "INSTRUCTION INFORMATION" BOOKLET THAT CAME WITH MY NEW WATCH
DOES NOT EXPLAIN HOW TO DO ANY OF THESE SETTINGS. ALTHOUGH ON PAGE 16 IT DOES SAY NOT TO SET THE
DATE WITH THE TIME BETWEEN 8:00 PM & 4:00 AM OR THE MOVEMENT WILL BE DAMAGED .NOT MUCH HELP...
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE MOST HELPFUL AND VERY CLEAR, EASY TO FOLLOW TUTORIAL.
Thank you sir!
Thank you for this video, this was really helpful!
i recently just bought this watch but and was looking for a guideabout more information about the rewinding, how many times do you usually do turn the crown, and how many hours/days until you have to do it again?
Thank you. When you start using it give it about 20 wounds.
Then just wear it and the movement starts charging itself from your daily wrist movements.
@@GadgetsforGentlemen okay thank you very much! ⏱️😁
Thank you very much for the video very helpful
Much appreciated. Enjoy the wonderful watch!
When i turn my knob clockwise it turns the clock backwards so i have to turn mine counter clockwise to move time forward..
Any suggestion to loosen a too tight crown as I am unable to turn it open counterclockwise?
Perhaps use a cotton cloth for a better grip around the crown. Also make sure the metal is not too cold. Thus wear it on the wrist so it can heat up a bit from your skin temperature.
Great video but does anyone know if you wear the watch everyday do you still have to wind it?
I am no expert. I would say no need to wind it if you were it everyday because your wrist movements will most likely charge the movement enough. That’s my 2 cents. Correct me if I am wrong.
Is there a way to tell when the watch is fully wound? And can this type of watch be overwound and damaged?
I don’t think there is a way to tell it’s fully wound. I would be careful to avoid overwinding. In theory overwinding could damage the movement.
(beautiful indeed!:-)
Thank you!
I have two Invicta quarts divers, but after I have set the time, when I push back in the crown wheel, the minutes hand will erratically in random manner jump forward or backward (part of) one, or several minutes.
That’s horrible!
Good day I just got 1 of these watches about 4 months now but my issue is every 3 to 4 days I have to set time and date why
Maybe because the movement isn’t charged enough? More wrist movements? Or maybe you need to service the movement by a watch maker.
Wow I feel really silly right now! I was turning the bezel thinking that was charging it 😅 what does the bezel turn for?
It’s for timekeeping purposes.
Approximately how long do you get out of your invicta per wind,Like how long did you get out of this watch after the video? I appreciate your time and help in advance. Thanks
With the movement NH35 (Seiko) you should get a power reserve of about 41 hours. Thus, when fully wound, you should get about 1.5 days of action... 😁
@@GadgetsforGentlemen OK, That's what I've been getting. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks for your help and time
Very welcome! Good thing you are getting the same results!
@@GadgetsforGentlemen Yes, It is a very good thing! Thanks to you, I now know. Thanks again 👍💯
Welcome!
Looking to add one of these watch straps, Does anyone know what size watch strap you need for the 40 mm?
20mm sir 😉
In this video I give you one of many examples:
ua-cam.com/video/DQHGFmI19c8/v-deo.html
I tried to wind mine manually but the crown doesn't make any "sound" is it fully winded? or did it broke something.
It movement should make some sound. Be careful to not overwind. I usually just wind a couple of times then throw it on my wrist.
Does the watch have months like february
You can change the date manually
My time adjustment thing fell off what do i do?
Push it back in, usually nothing happens
How much do you have to wind your Invicta ? I mean at which point you have to stop? ,coes i don't want to brake it.Thanks
I do it only 20 times. Or just a couple of times and just throw it on the wrist. Since it will also wind from your normal wrist movements, as long as you actually move your body ;)
I have this exact watch and I am having to wind it everyday without delay due to the ticking hand being a few seconds ahead of actual time, is this normal?
It's normal for the second hand to not be super precise. The movement may have some shortcomings in accuracy. It's acceptable at this price point.
I have a rare invicta deadpool watch i can't figure out how to set the date.
Is this the 40 mm version?
Yes it is
Have the same watch for three days. The number 8 has popped off rolling around inside now. I will be missing it when it's gone. Mine runs great so far otherwise.
That's very unfortunate! Is it still under warranty?
@@GadgetsforGentlemen Even a extended one for four years. Will send it close buy I hope. Don't want to take it off right now as it's a new watch.
Good luck with it. I think it’s a great and affordable timepiece 😁
Where’d you get the NATO strap?
I bought this one at Watchgecko.
The brand is called Zuludiver.
I want to buy a NATO watch strap for this watch. What width should I choose? 20mm or 18mm?
20mm
I have the same watch when I got it it was at the 25 Nd now it’s at the 9th so what do I have to to let know ASAP
Send me a dm on Instagram
How many millimeters wide is this NATO watch strap? 20mm?
Yes 20mm!
@@GadgetsforGentlemen Thank you!
Welcome!
I’m struggling to turn my crown what should I do?
I guess when it’s screwed down? Can you be more specific?
@@GadgetsforGentlemen I figured it out now but thanks for the guide
Glad to hear that!
I bought new invicta pro diver 8926ob and the sad news is its not working plz can u help me what should i do and what is the reason behind it
Are you sure it has an automatic movement or is it Quartz movement?
@@GadgetsforGentlemen its has automatic movement and on the back of watch its clearly seen. NH35A seiko movement
That’s strange. Should work the same.
@@GadgetsforGentlemen i bring that watch to watch maker today and he says ur watch movement is stuck soo he open it and re-arrange that all stuff in the movement after that my watch is working fine now🥰
Fantastic enjoy it😉
Turn Downwards. No because the back would go up. Say counterclockwise since we are talking about watches.
Turn Upwards. No because the back would go down. Say clockwise.
You don't charge a mechanical watch' you wind it.
Also it would help if you collected your thoughts before speaking so this 10 minute video would come down to 3-4 at least.
Thanks for your feedback!
