Hi there! I love how you integrated the eye /window onto her face. It worked perfectly. I also had forgotten the tech of using the watercolor onto the gesso and then sprinkling the alcohol inks. I used to do it all of the time but then was ill for a couple of years and couldn't really do much. Thank you again, your collage is beautiful and fun!

Loved this! Learned some new techniques to try! New at this, so the alcohol on the layer of gesso and juicy watercolor was so alive! Loving the way you use the white dots to move the energy, talking my language!

So glad that I stumbled upon your page. This project is beautiful! I only rember learning about collage in elementary school. This is waaaay beyond my knowledge. I didn't know about any of these techniques. I'm so excited to go explore.

I tried reverse collage many years ago, with just filling in gesso area with images to fill in the spaces, but never like this with the collage pieces on the original image...great job...love it!!! Thanx for sharing.

I have become such a big fan & follower of you and your videos. I'm going to be 50 in a couple months and I've never really done any "art" other than quilting & some crocheting. Well, about 9 months ago I smashed my foot really really bad & I have been off work (can't run the hospital floors this way) so I've been watching UA-cam etc. Long story short, I've been board out of my mind & I start doing some glue books and what not. I came across your channel and you have shown me sooo much! I've watched all your videos and I get excited when a new one comes out! I've recently started an altered book. I'm using some of your technics & some that I've come up with on my own. I'm waiting on my stabilo! (Ordered through your Amazon) Sorry this has turned into a rambling! I just wanted to thank you! Loved this piece! Collage is my first (art) love. I started a junk journal and ended up with a collage journal instead. I have never used gelatos before, so hesitated to buy a set. The color was beautiful, though. And I am crazy about the alcohol technique. I immediately thought of air bubbles in water. I need to try this with an under-the-sea theme. Thanks again for the inspiration. You are an absolute doll. :)

Thank you, LorriMarie. I've been away from the art table for a long time. Creating art is something I've truly missed, but have been a little hesitant to jump back in. I'm out of practice. Collage seemed to be a good jumping in place for me. I love my collage journal, but I'm ready to branch out. I recently started working on my first altered book. I've been inspired in so many ways by your videos already. I'm looking forward to learning more. Your content is awesome. :)

Another fabulous technique! Perfect way to start my day here in Florida at 5:30 AM! I got so wrapped up in my learning to perfect my coloring class I kind of lost sight of what I love to so so now the coloring is secondary when I have a few minutes to spare. I did two glue pages last night so I feel better already!
