God bless you for not letting him re-render the entire thing at his own expense for something none of the rest of us can really see ❤ this was a sad video and it obviously was sad for him to have had to don his painters cap 😢 I'd be perfectly happy with the result too 👍
Being a perfectionist as its downside. I took ages finishing a job off & you couldn't even see the piece without getting on your hands & knees. A remark was made that you can't even see it, my answer back was , "but I know it's there." Don't beat yourself up, lad, you've done a great job in difficult weather conditions.
Have just done my silicone render job. I messed up on the under coat which was not smooth. Was flat but too many lines in it. Asked around and put another thin layer on. The top coat went on good. Things go wrong and thank you for showing how you got over this. The house looks great. Thanks for showing.
Great job and don’t feel too bad I can’t see e patch on video and after all you offered a solution but the customer declined it and the customer is always right by tradition. Be proud another great job done.
Fair play when we plasterers make a mistake you have to be man enough to own it and do your best to sort it I'm having one of those days my self rubbed up an area a bit late not looking what it should it's silicone can u re coat again if so what is the best way do I prime again and apply another coat straight over the top
Hello. Sorry to hear that, i feel your pain. Its still fresh so you don't need to prime just put some water into the silicone render and start to render. Be aware of the weather, Not a great time to render
Hello sorry to hear that I feel your pain. You don't need to prime cuz you still fresh you should just put some water into the silicone render and apply it. Be aware of the bad weather it's quite difficult to render in this conditions
It's seems that it was hot and they didn't smooth it in time. You need some experience to do this type of render . After 10 years or more, i still struggle. I definitely can do perfect now. Imagine someone who's starting now
@@How2Extreme thanks for the reply these guys have 20 years experience, and weather was fine, i’m starting a bungalow for my first job, but wanted to know the reason for this discolour so i don’t make the same mistake
It's no secret. Keep it wet, be fast, and work in the shade. If bright light goes on the wall, then you have around 5 minutes to finish. Contact me on my Facebook, and we can have a chat. And i dont belive in the 20 years experience in silicon render this is quite a new system for uk not even in this moment we can find a shop with the full system on the shelf this system it's so old in other countries that is starting to disappear
I can see it a little bit, with my artist eye, but the paint was a big improvement. I'm sure with time and weather it will blend in better. I commend your work ethic!!! Great job as always. 😘
Yes, but it's still sand and cement things change now new system's are crack resistant and hold for a longer period of time without maintenance. This is my personal belief from what I've seen in the past 13 years that im doing this. Thanks for your visit
What's the best way to ensure there are no lines or patches? I had this done to my house and there are differant shades/lines everywhere. The contractor said over time it will fade to the same colour. He did the silicone render in one day and was applying and rubbing the render down every 10 minutes or so.
I used the same brand, and bnq dont have silicone paint, same like the render i can't risk that with my client and that paint was done with the matchin color
Good that you show your mistakes, from mistakes we all learn! Great the client was not that fussed.
Definitely this is somthing that its good to know about it. Thanks for the visit
Absolutely have the up most respect for you , you were prepared to re do the render. Think it looks fantastic,
Thank you very much. I always look to leave the customer some value after i leave.
Hi . I was the client.
Very pleased with the results. Highly recommended.
The job been done last year, looks like been done yesterday. Thanks
Thank you very much

Thanks. Definitely, i wasn't happy with the result, but I am always ready to admit and solve any mistakes

@@How2Extreme ideally need the same amount as you had there. What's it actually called?
@A.32166 tower scaffolding. But is going to be a bit difficult to find that in england. This is a European scaffolding

whats the reason for different shades on silicone, some lads did a job in white near me, but it look patchy everywhere?

Been there before ,mine got washed of with a unpredicted storm, had to redo not the end of the world just another lesson.
That's a real pain, it happened to me a couple of times and probably it will happen again can't do much about it.
Great series of vids!
Glad you think so!

Thanks.i had all the render in my van and ready to go
@@How2Extreme you can use it for another job, or bring it back.
Yep.gist booked a nother job
@@How2Extreme good to hear 🙂🙂
Good stuff man! 👍
Thanks for the visit
That's great news mate thanks for your reply
Any time!
If the siliconic render was white you still could have this issue?
Yes. Definitely
I've been a self employed spread for 30 years man. I feel your pain Just live and learn, you'll look back in the future and just laugh about this. !!
Yes I know exactly what you mean. Thanks for being here
well done perfect as usual
Thanks

A nother coat on top.nothing else is going to solve the problem and silicone render it's not fading in color over time
Well done brother we’re not all perfect it’s how we deal with it was it a ewi system
thanks mate and yes ewi
Can't see a thing
That's good but is there if you know where to look. Thanks for the visit
Sad

Can u do my house 😂
With or without the stain ??? 🤔
You could have taken a photo and got a colour match from bnq then painted the small patch maybe ?
I used the same brand, and bnq dont have silicone paint, same like the render i can't risk that with my client and that paint was done with the matchin color
Even if it was a perfect match, the non silicone paint would change shade over time. You did the right thing
Thanks
Great job, I just dropped you an email with an enquiry, I hope you can do my rendering job. 😎
