  • So, today we're lookin' at how many times Darth Maul's double-bladed lightsaber was cut in half. We got movies, books, comics, games, and TV shows to go through, so, let's get counting!

0:11 Like the Death Star, Starkiller Base, Suncrusher and how the Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship in Phantom Menace kind of looked like it had a small Death Star in the middle.

To be fair he is kinda asking for it when he holds it like that, these blades aren't that practical are they?
"Believe it or not, we also got a manga adaptation for Episode 1" THERE'S A WAH?!

7:07 Yea those inquisitor lightsabers were just plain goofy frankly. The way they spun was cool but the hilt design was just dumb. A guarded hilt doesn't work against lightsabers unless it's either also the blade of a lightsaber (like Kylo Ren's crossguard, which funnily enough was the result of a defect, a cracked kyber crystal) or using vibro or electro tech (which it also likely wouldn't be able to block if a swing had enough kinetic force). Wonder if that happened because of fan feedback?
