Same problem with the audio technical line 10 system I use. Looking for a more reliable wireless mic
Bro! Nothing more embarrassing than having your mic fail. Mine was to the point it would work perfect one gig and then the next just drop out after drop out. Had to make the switch. Like I said so far the sound quality seems better and the range on this is great. Last wedding I was at least 80ft away and it was working just fine.
DJ LoStax you are sure right about that! Then they start tapping on the mic to see if it’s on and making head gestures to you about the mic. People started yelling “ I can’t hear you”! Embarrassing
Why did you not get the BLX series SLX Series is discontinued unless you got that for cheap. I have a Line6 XD-V75 never had issue so far had for a while now. Good video review. Thank You
SLX is superior to the BLX line. I’m not sure where you heard SLX is discontinued. From what I can see on the Shure website they are still advertising it as an offered line of wireless mics. I have a line 6 v75 and a v55. Both receivers have been having drop out issues. It may be an issue with my handheld mic itself.
@@DJLoStax Hello So i meant to say it will be discontinued soon in the UK as not many people buying any more as the BLX goes main difference is just the mic display receivers have bit more range and have more channels so for standard weddings even out doors is it worth spending the £350 more.
Aah ok. Well I got mine for $400 new through a friend. So I think i got a pretty good deal considering the shure site says it retails for $550.. I did look at the BLX line because of the dual model they offer. Still considering that one for ceremony only so I don’t have to move my SLX back and forth. Just can’t decide if i would want the dual lav kit or the lav/ handheld kit.
how has this been while at events? looking into invest in either SLX or ULX..wondering if you have had any drop outs with it?
I would recommend the sennheiser G4. I switched this year and don’t plan on ever going back! I did a review on they as well.

@@DJLoStax ok, I'm trying to thrift this since I'm just starting my business so looking on the used market...only reason I'm looking at those is the abundance on the used market. I can be patient though at wait for a g4. I'm guessing it wasnt reliable?

Thanks for the video. After about 15 years with my Shure wireless SM58 unit I ready to upgrade now. After some research looks like I'm going with the SLX too. What is your latest review on it? Either post or feel free to private message, thanks!
I love it. I’ve made sure to sync it each time i use it and I’ve had zero drop out and the battery life is impressive and accurate.
