It'd be great if it were a factory option, but alas not. I am sure you could get a shop to fit it for you, but it is really quite easy, just time consuming. I think it took me around 2hrs start to finish to fit the Veridian Cruise control kit. Suzuki appear to have made remapping their bikes very difficult. Under attempted full load on a dyno, I believe the ECU detects the front wheel isn't turning & prevents this. This is what Lamb Chop experienced when getting his GSXS 1000-GT remapped. Hopefully the tuning community can work out how to unlock Suzuki ECUs, so that all parameters can be modified!

Hiya, although I loved my Moto Guzzi V85TT when I had it, it really is more of a road bike than a trail bike. The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is an amazing bike and with the right tyres and rider, is hugely capable on the dirt trails. I've never ridden the V-Strom 650 so can't comment on that other than to say the 650 engine is great... I've ridden a couple of SV650's in the past.
I see. So the Vstrom 800 is a bit over budget. Maybe in 1-2 years when used values decrease on that bike. However, I want a shaft drive anyway, and I found a great deal on a 2021 V85tt with only 7,000 miles for $7,000 us$.
