@Fe Cu exactly, it's just people's perceptions of what should be breakfast food and what isn't. And if anything, so many countries around the world have very heavy "breakfast" dishes. Chips for breakfast (whether that potato chips or chips as in fries), really isn't all that bad if you consider what people eat for breakfast on a basis anyways.
As a Californian one of the things I feel lucky for is my easy access to many in n out restaurants. For anyone who is reading next time you go there order a "fry light" instead of "fries". They cook them a few minutes less and they are so perfect. A double double with onion and a cheese fry light is my order.
Fry light? You are smoking crack. You want to order "Fries Done Well". They leave them in longer so they get crispier. @@electrictroy2010 In and Out is good, but I agree, Gordon Ramsay's Burger in Vegas was amazing!! He has 4 other restaurants there if you're interested too!
I watch way too much food network type stuff, but I've seen many top chefs say things like "of course I like some junk food" or talk about how some mornings they just want a bowl of frosted flakes. I'd say a fair amount of them are not pretentious about cooking.
This is why I hate where I live rn, I have easy access to three separate states yet since I live up in the mid-northern end of the USA I have no In n Out burgers anywhere, and I don’t think I have the patience to wait for one to open up here
The reason why In n Out is only in California is that their ingredients are so fresh. Their meat supplier is in California, and their locations are never getting a day's drive away from it. They actually don't have any freezers or fridges because they don't need them and to show how fresh everything is!

Let's appreciate the fact that he's able to say that he loves In-N-Out despite the fact that he has an upscale burger restaurant in the same city. I actually tried his burger place and its good but not great despite having very fancy ingredients.
It’s delicious! They’re located only in the western region of America. All their ingredients are fresh; nothing is frozen. The patties comes in fresh each day and the fries are cut from fresh potatoes after you order. Their menu is basic but if you ever go to one you gotta order from their secret menu. I always order a *Number 1 **_(Double Double meal),_** animal style, extra toast, extra grilled onions, with sliced chili peppers. You can change your regular fries to Animal Style fries if you’d like.* Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
It is good. Definitely S Tier fast food. The problem is it’s too talked about so there’s two camps. There’s the people who overhype it by saying it’s the single greatest thing you will ever put in your mouth, and there’s the hipsters who try to be contrarian and say it’s worse than McDonald’s. It’s a 4$ burger. But it’s the best 4$ burger out there. People will say Five Guys and Shake Shack are better forgetting that those places cost over twice as much.

-Veggie and Grilled cheese sandwiches are available (there are not veggie substitute meat patties of course, just the veggies and spread on the sponge dough buns)
***In N Out will never charge you for additional veggie toppings you want or spread sauce on the side, however, they will charge for additional meats or cheese if you customize your burgers outside their standard choices.
Having Gordon Ramsay liking your Restaurant because you make really good burgers is like having Zeus liking your food stand because you make really good Gyro's.

In-n-Out sure knows how to do a burger
At a great price with great service too.
I've seen plenty of East coasters - well, really anybody who is not from the West Coast - hate on In n Out so hard because they think it's overrated. No. It's rated exactly as high as it should be, and even Gordon Ramsay agrees. Stay mad, East Coast.
Lots of East Coast and Texans hate California without ever stepping foot in the state. So naturally they gotta hate In N Out too. It's like California is the parent so they gotta hate the child.
I had In n Out last week here in Austin and it kinda sucked, the burger was bland.
@@wendaltvedt4673 To be fair, my taste for In N Out comes and goes. I mostly go with em for price and quality but I'll be trying some higher tier chains in my area eventually.
And then they say Five Guys is better, like come on! It's ok but their prices are getting outrageous for what it is. $10 for a double cheeseburger? Heck no, lemme go over to In-N-Out and get the exact same thing for $4 plus some animal style fries
@@gavinthecrafter I get that Five Guys is ridiculously expensive, but it's not the exact same as an In n Out burger. Five Guys at least has good flavor I'll give them that. In and Out just tastes generic in comparison.
"I just with In-N-Out would open up in bloody England"
Gordon, I feel like of all people, you're the one that could actually help make that happen.

the fact that he gets in the backseat to eat his In and Out burger lmao
You know when Gordon Ramsay likes something you’ve done, you’re going to go far in life.
Hes not that good. I saw his version of a burger and it was way too tall and actually raw, which is wierd because thats what he criticizes people for. He's a pompous ass that is a good character for tv shows if you're into that
gordon at the end of the day is just a wholesome guy. who you see him as is what his profession turns him into

Who doesn't, I love that place. Not only are their burgers great but their stores are so clean and the staff are really friendly and they don't mess up your order. Pretty much the opposite of McDonald's.
Good price and she simple menu too.
I’m happy to work at a place where Gordon recommends
Gordon Ramsay and Anthony Bourdain have said in multiple interviews that In N Out is their favorite fast food burger. That alone should put any comparisons to Shake Shack, Whattaburger, 5 Guys...to rest.
they just opened in Colorado. i waited for 8 hours!! worth it
There are now 3 open in the Denver area, Aurora (which is 10 min away from me), Lone Tree, one just opened in Lakewood, and one is currently being built in Thornton. 🙂
The reason In N Out does expand is they won't open a shop further than 300 miles from one of their meat packing plants.
I also wish they will open In-N-Out in England someday. Then I can fly there from Prague on a weekends, just because I love their burgers so much.
I love being from cali , In n out is fire.
Especially faded or after a night out
And I thought I was the only one that inhaled double doubles in my car. Like a vacuum! Lol
See, Gordon loves it. All the validation I need.
I wonder how jealous Gordon would be if I told him I live about a half mile from an In-N-Out.
I grew up 3 blocks away from one. 😂
My dorm in college was across the street.
I would assume In N Out doesnt branch out more is because their quality control is really strict and I would assume its a big task overseeing them to make sure everything is fresh and to In N Out standards
Anthony Bourdain loved in n out too!
I love how all the UA-camrs are saying it’s overrated meanwhile a Michelin star chef absolutely enjoys it.
I've had in n out about a dozen times last 2 months. Worth, believe me.
Worth duh: it’s super cheap
We can all relate to going through the Drive Thru and then parking and climbing into the backseat to eat our burgers.
Did no one catch him say that he essentially burns Michael Phelps levels of calories? That's insane lol
bgregz dudes a legend
Yeah I find that hard to believe tbh, he must spend hours at the gym to do that. That's like 5 days worth of food burned in one gym session

@@shanekeenaNYC Haha. I remember this guy that worked the brick pizza oven at this really nice hospital cafeteria. The dude did look like he was about 350 or more.
Yeah he must be exaggerating. No way he has time to train like that. Phelps was doing three work outs a day, and working obviously way harder than Gordon ( no offense Gordon )
I just had two Double-Doubles the other day, with a side of Animal Fries. Sooooo good. I grew up on In N Out in CA, now in CO, and thrilled they’ve expanded in this direction. 😃
@LAKERSDODGERSRAMSKANGS Jones The In N Out about 10 minutes from where I live was the first of three to open in the Denver area. I didn’t hear about the fights, but there was a 14 hour wait on opening day. That was back in November. The lines today are still long, but they move pretty fast. I’ve been there twice since it opened, and I’d say both times only took about 30 minutes.
By the way, I like your screen name, Personally, I’m more of a Lakers/Dodgers/Rams/Ducks fan. 😋
Real recognizes real
Just tried it for the first time today. Went to visit Texas all the way from Canada. Definitely a great burger, probably in my top 5.
THIS MAN KNOWS A GOOD BURGER!! IN N OUT RULES!😊👍👍👍
I’m sure a collab between in-n-out burger & Gordon would be able to bring in-n-out to UK shores. Go on Gordon! Make it happen
Damn, now I'm hungry
When I lived in TX, In n Out was the place that made me feel I was back in Cali
A burger is a snack? 😂😂😂
@WeebWeek I don't eat breakfast 🤯
@Fe Cu i like hashbrowns :(
@Fe Cu exactly, it's just people's perceptions of what should be breakfast food and what isn't. And if anything, so many countries around the world have very heavy "breakfast" dishes. Chips for breakfast (whether that potato chips or chips as in fries), really isn't all that bad if you consider what people eat for breakfast on a basis anyways.
Yes
My chef in culinary school would go on and on about White Castle and even said it was the best food on earth. Sometimes the simple things are better
I'd like to go by an actual White Castle location.
What a fucking g, double double animal style the wave
In n Out would be wildly successful in the UK. We love junk food, value for money and treating the workers decently. I'd eat a #1 combo every 3 days.
I read the title as "Gordon Ramsay Loves N Word Burger" haha
Wait for Idiocracy to happen.
Double Double Animal was also Tony Bordain’s go to as well. I’m in good company!
The regular fries are crap, they seem underdone and you want people to have LESS done fries???? No. That is absolutely wrong. Also, my order is double double animal style with whole grilled onions, extra cheese, fries done well and a chocolate shake.
@@twitchosx my friend is a manager at innout. She said a fry light with extra salt tastes like McDonalds fries (which is totally true). The regular fries are cooked too long imo they always dry out in a matter of minutes. How am I smoking crack because I like the fries better undercooked??? Why dont you try it out before you knock it asshole.
@Joe Smith so have you tried a fry light??
@@joketsu100 Broseph. McDonalds fries taste like they do because they are fried after they are cut at the factory and then fried again at the store. In-N-Out cuts their fries in-house and they go straight raw to the fyer. They are not cut, then fried then frozen and then thawed and fried again. Man, can you imagine if In-N-Out had fries like McDonalds? holy shit. I do like the fact that In-N-Out cuts them in house and theres no preservatives or other bullshit, but thats the trade-off. You have to eat them fast cuz when they get cold, they are crap.
@@twitchosx omg these UA-cam comment sections. Why cant I just recommend an order without you people being so fucking annoying. Of course they dont taste exactly like McDonalds fries. Yeah I used to eat at the In N Out off Highway 121 in Grapevine, TX before I moved back to Tulsa. As much as I loved In N Out, Tulsa has them beat at their own game hands down with Ron's Burgers and Chili, Brownie's, Webers, among many other excellent "greasy spoon" family-owned burger places. In my experience, Tulsa is the secret burger capital of the world.
@@electrictroy2010 In and Out is good, but I agree, Gordon Ramsay's Burger in Vegas was amazing!! He has 4 other restaurants there if you're interested too!
It’s honestly not worth it. The burgers are bland, their fries are tasteless, & their menu is extremely limited. 1.5 stars.
@@reidoha1066 The burgers are very friggin good.....the fries suck....check urself.
I watch way too much food network type stuff, but I've seen many top chefs say things like "of course I like some junk food" or talk about how some mornings they just want a bowl of frosted flakes. I'd say a fair amount of them are not pretentious about cooking.
I love In n Out. And Gordon freakin' Ramsay loving it just brightens up my day.
If Anthony bourdain and Gordon Ramsey both talk up how amazing in n out is, you can’t argue that it’s the most elite of all fast food chains

The reason why In n Out is only in California is that their ingredients are so fresh. Their meat supplier is in California, and their locations are never getting a day's drive away from it. Is In-N-Out THAT good? I’m in Florida and have never been outside Florida (sadly), I tried to go once but found out it is no where near Florida
With how Jack in the Box was considering some locations in Florida I can only hope that In & Out will do the same...
Food of the Gods.
NtJuiceyy Texas
Absolutely THE best fast food place to not only eat at but work at as well, if any of you aren't from America come visit an In N Out next time you visit because that's truly biting into what America is all about.
