I think the easiest answer is Province girl = traditional; city girl = westernized party girls (Of course that does NOT apply to ALL). Or to put in foreigner terms, province girl is the type of PROPER LADY they are leaving their own countries to find a SERIOUS relationship with and marry. City girls with their westernized attitudes and behaviors are the type of woman they are trying to get AWAY from unless just looking for a little "fun". Any Filipina wanting to be in a serious relationship with a foreigner, if you behave or show traits of a western woman in any way, your chances a foreigner will be interested are VERY LOW. Again, I still think you should tell your interviewee's to put their phones away for the interview, them constantly looking at it says the interview isn't important, so why would their answers be. If they can't ignore their phone for a few minutes, why would a guy think she'll actually give him attention? Me personally, I couldn't be with a woman on social media, there would be no trust that MY PRIVATE LIFE would remain private. My private life is not there for her to do a video and post on social media for everyone else to judge and give their biased opinion on, just for clicks and views. If I wanted someone to know about my life, I would tell them. I also would see it as her seeking attention from other guys, when the ONLY person she should be looking for attention from is her partner, her loyalty and faithfulness would be in question. Also, if she can't turn her phone OFF and put it away when we're together without me having to ask her to, she is showing me she's not really interested in me, that FAKE fantasy world on her tiny phone screen is more important, and I'm not going to be with her because she's not living in the same world I am.

If you want a girl who speaks English WELL, it's going to be hard to find, even in the cities. If fluency is a must, she will probably be highly educated, more westernized, and used to dealing with foreigners.

She lives in the province and washes clothes by hand....I offered to pay $500 to buy a washer and dryer...She refused..One year later she is taking her clothes to the laundry and paying for service she could have gotten for free ...
City girls seem to be on a mi$$ion while province girls have simpler lives. City pinay's like wearing skirts and dresses while province pinay's wear shorts and blue jeans. Both types of pinays are pretty smart, but it seems that province gals aren't as worried about money when they choose who to date and they are much more conservative. It is rare to see a city girl not carrying a cell phone and they do spend a lot of time at the bars. All they seem to want is to have fun. 👍
In the Philippines working when you are 23 is considered young, in Europe 18 is considered young, at 20 your are still studying or your are working, not concidered exceptional.
Sorry, but I believe Filipinas are more complex than they seem. Just because they come from poor country do not underestimate them. Do not underestimate their intelligence, compassion, and knowledge. Their caring nature makes them perfect for nursing. When it comes to negotiating I have seen sellers cringe. Taking care of the house, a Filipina is expert. Raising children no other woman can do as well. When a Filipina loves you she will be the center of her world. As you are hers.
